Summary

Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson, announced her intention to leave the U.S. after Donald Trump’s 2024 election win, citing concerns over anti-trans sentiment and her lack of a future in the country.

Vivian, who legally separated from Musk in 2022, has openly criticized him, labeling him a “serial adulterer.”

Musk, a prominent Trump supporter who donated heavily to his campaign, has expressed regret over her gender transition, claiming he was “tricked” into supporting puberty blockers.

Meanwhile, Musk has purchased a $35 million compound in Austin, Texas, where he plans to house his children and their mothers.

It's a bit weird to word it like this no? It's like he's buying a ranch for livestock, well, from Musk that kinda fit actually

[–] peopleproblems 67 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Yeah that ain't a home, that's a breeding facility.

Fucking weird. Like straight out of Game of Thrones where that one dude was in one house with all the girls and sacrificed the boys

Yeeesh

In picturing a House of the Scorpion scenario

And what’s the deal with the plural of “mothers”? Sounds like he has several wives or x-wives living with him.

If you read the article, yes, that's exactly it. He wants all his kids from different mothers to live different homes in the same compound. Creepy.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 1 month ago

I thought that was pretty par the course in the US for places like Utah.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago (3 children)

And they are ok with living under the same roof with each other? If you can live like a queen, you probably are willing to make some compromises. Either that or Musk is one helluva negotiator. If it’s the latter, Musk should really try to talk to the leaders of Israel and Hamas.

Compound suggests multiple buildings

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago

The law currently would give them a choice, but Musk has the government and the Supreme Court to change this.

[–] andros_rex 4 points 1 month ago

From what I’ve heard, none of the mothers are interested.

[–] Carbonizer 69 points 1 month ago

The guy has had 12 kids with 4 or 5 different women. Reading the section of his wikipedia page about his children is like watching an episode of Maury [LINK]

[–] FlyingSquid 45 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Apparently he wants to start his own fundamentalist Mormon compound.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The Real Sister Wives Of Texas, premiers spring 2025 on fox.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago

The sad thing is I bet more people would watch it then voted.

[–] frunch 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Nobody can stop him--if that's his desire, he will have it that way. We're about to see how eccentric a billionaire can get, we're probably not even scratching the surface yet. $35 mill seems like chicken scratch though, with his kind of wealth I'd drop $5 billion and see what kind of compound that gets ya lol

[–] FlyingSquid 18 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yep. He will be able to get away with even more now than he ever was before. All guard rails are down. He's going to have a sister-wife compound with trucks out the back unloading pallets of ketamine.

[–] frunch 6 points 1 month ago

He's gonna age really gracefully, somehow i can see it already lol

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago

"Mothers" does not imply "wives". He has only been married to two women. But he has children with many more than that.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

Did it say he would be living with them? I took it to mean it's like a box for him to put all his perceived mistakes and throw away the key.

A compound in Texas run by an ultraconservative who loves guns is an American tradition

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Getting some Utah vibes out of this too.

[–] Cornelius_Wangenheim 5 points 1 month ago

More like Branch Davidian.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 month ago

This sounds like a cult

Branch Davidians shit.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 month ago (3 children)

For a billionaire that's surprisingly cheap - there are regular old houses in North Vancouver that sell for more.

[–] pufferfisherpowder 21 points 1 month ago

The price ain't the wtf part

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago

Pretty sure that would go a long way in Austin.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yeah, its suspiciously low

I saw a video clip recently of Joe Rogan talking about this rich, corrupt politician in the middle east. When they mentioned that the old man had a harem of underage brides, Joe Rogan responded with "that's ballin"

This is what these people want to be like. They want to be allowed to treat women like cattle and use them for breeding purposes

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

Sounds like they have no choice in the matter other.

Ofelon, meet Ofelon...

I thought that was only legal in Utah

[–] [email protected] 58 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If you're a rich asshole, everywhere is your Utah.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

I've never heard it put quite like this before. Poetic.

[–] mipadaitu 32 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Assuming he's only actually married to one person, it's just adultery, which is mostly legal.

Of course, that assumes everyone is there consensually, and is free to leave whenever.

[–] FlyingSquid 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I doubt they would be free to leave now that Vivian is out there badmouthing him. And considering the way he treated Vivian, they will be neglected and verbally abused.

[–] Today 7 points 1 month ago

Ummm....dad...why are the locks on the inside?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's actually not legal in Utah! The Mormon church yielded after a lot of pressure regarding the practice and Utah then made it illegal.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yes, outlawing polygamy was one of the concessions for statehood. The church later claimed it was never actually a commandment and condemned anyone still practicing it (publicly).

[–] andros_rex 3 points 1 month ago

“Publicly” is doing a lot of work there. Happened under the table a lot through the early 1900s.

Also, even in mainstream LDS, there is polygamy in the afterlife. Women can only get sealed to one husband, if they die or get divorced their husband can be sealed again, and will get all of his spirit wives back in the afterlife. I think women who die unmarried get passed out as well, although some of them get husbands that fought valiantly in the pre-existence or something but weren’t born.

[–] FlyingSquid 57 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Us too, Vivian. It's no longer safe for queer people in America. I hope you have a safe place to go.

That's pretty much their endgame.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago

Corpo spawn solves daddy issues by being rich.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

Instead of Waco, Texas it will be Wacko, Texas.
