He was given a chance in 2020 and lost by a pretty large margin. I voted for him twice. The reality is progressives are not popular, even within the Democratic party. If we want that to change, we need to first convince people from the bottom up instead of expecting some kind of top down change.

Sure, but cold calling someone is still a dick move. Professionals have schedules and deadlines. The proper etiquette is to first engage over email or text and ask if they're free for a call unless it's something truly urgent.

If I'm trying to work on something complicated, it takes 20-30 minutes to remind myself of all the disparate pieces and get into the "zone" of productivity. Your phone call ruins that, makes me have to start the process over again and drastically increases the likelihood of me screwing something up. If people keep calling or shoulder tapping me, I get nothing done.

If you text first, it gives me the option to ignore you for a bit if I'm in the middle of something.

A general rule with polls is that you'll never get a result below 5% on a question with 2 options. Those people mostly weren't paying attention, didn't understand the question, didn't care or intentionally chose a contrarian response.

The Republicans have the majority in both the House and Senate. To do something, you need power first.

And traditional LCDs with a backlight use more power for darkness. The LCD is transparent by default and turns opaque/black when a voltage is applied.

But both sides! Blue maga! Can't you see how morally superior we are for refusing to do the bare minimum to stop the fascists?

The problem is it takes time to identify them and kick them out. At a large scale, there will be a constant churn of poorly managed and malicious instances getting access to the network and then not getting booted until weeks or months later.
