Grandpa could be GenX and his grandfather fought the Nazis. Fascism is coming back because few people alive remember it.
It took less than a decade between the Greatest Generation dying off for their kids to enable fascism.

I called my MAGA father-in-law a "fucking asshole" in front of half the family and all I got was a no more politics in front of the family ban. He thought it was funny.
