In high school the class that graduated before me took a class picture, and all the jocks lined up in the front with their uniforms on. Then, when they took the "crazy" picture they pulled off their uniforms and had "DEEZ NUTZ" written on their shirts. They lied and said it was an inside joke, and when the faculty got all the pictures they realized what they did. So they had the entire yearbook committee draw Zorro capes and masks on them, and attempt to change the shirts to say "ZORRO" for some reason.
This was in 1999.

People say they want memes like we used to have back, only to flip out when a late 2000s/early 2010s style gmod thing blows up.
Yeah honestly I only still like a lot of the old stuff because of nostalgia. If it all came back in full force it would get old quick.
I grew up with gmod idiot box and dane cook bits animated with stick figures.
I think the kids today are doing just fine, at least on the memes front.
Either grandpa has very specific taste in old memes or I've missed a lot of shoe-based content..

Lots of young folks with time to dedicate to surfing were at the right age where lolrandom was peak humor. They were ripe to receive the shit posts of prodigious animators congregating on Newgrounds and Ebaums etc

I never understood the Damn Daniel meme. Like was it ever actually a meme, or is it a meme that it was a meme at all? Cuz I never actually hard anyone actually say that, aside from the occasional youtube poop video.
It was just a viral video series, at the time. I think they were popular on Vine. I definitely have heard it used a couple of times in real life, but mostly just when somebody got some new shoes or something.

Am a Daniel and I was in High School during it's peak. I can assure you people said it a lot.
My favorite was Trogdor. Legend has it he's still burninating the countryside to this very day

I try to stay open minded but geez, 'gyatt' really bugs me. It's just a re-phoneticized spelling of half the phrase 'got damn', telephone-gamed into a noun somehow.
I can enjoy or at least accept everything else but please. Stop talking about gyatt.

Yes. It does, boomer. Women can be rizzlers as well with their massive gyatts. A rizzler with a massive gyatt can rizz many men.
I get the sense that you compensate for lack of gyatt by having rizz, but I suppose it can go either way. The thicc just ain't quicc.
So I should ask the doctor for quicc if I think I have rizz? Does thicc heal up the gyatt? And do both come as ointments? It's like having clapback all over again.

Rizz = charisma = good flirting. A rizzler is a person who flirts well.
Gyat = Girl Your Ass is Thick. And is also used as an exclamation upon seeing a thick ass and a term for a thick ass in general.
So rizzler gyat is a flirtatious girl with a thick ass.
Also of note "sticking out your gyat for the rizzler" is the song that blew up those words would mean "sticking out your butt for the charismatic guy"
