The difficulty of course is not in getting her to understand the concept of acting, it's that nobody wants her to be anybody else.
If you're really into JK Simmons, go find the often-overlooked sci-fi thriller Counterpart. In which, he plays two identical people with very different personalities. I'll leave you to discover why.
I watched it just because he's in it. I've also got Night Sky waiting.
Ohh cool, haven't heard of Night Sky, but if it's anything like Counterpart, that would be amazing.
I liked Night Sky, but JK Simmons doesn’t exactly JK it up in that one.
I was so bummed they cancelled this show. It was SO GOOD.
He was also in 2022s Marmaduke movie which The Guardian describes as having
“a level of aesthetic amateurishness seldom seen in wide-release motion pictures, more closely associated with DVD menu screens (and) computer games meant to teach children the fundamentals of phonics”
It’s honestly probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen.
So yea, he’s great and everything but they’re not all wall to wall bangers!
I highly doubt JK Simmons was responsible for the animation. He probably signed up for voice work before it became apparent it looked terrible.
No, but the other aspects of the movie (story. writing, direction etc) are just as terrible.
The whole thing is horribly lazy and feels like it’s a combination of AI, a tax dodge and one of those contractual movies that has to be made or someone loses a licence.
Also Bojack Horseman, where he voices the news anchor whale and the movie producer Lenny Turtletaub.
And then there's Glorious, where he voices a demonic Eldritch gloryhole.
