Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) accused Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) of openly detailing his sexual experiences to fellow lawmakers in a bonkers interview with CNN on Wednesday. (You can check out his comments in the clip below.)

“He bragged about how he would crush E.D. medicine and chase it with energy drinks so he could go all night. This is obviously before he got married,” Mullin told CNN’s Manu Raju.

Mullin, an ally of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), made the wild claims about Gaetz after the Florida Republican ― and seven other members of his party ― joined all House Democrats in supporting the ouster of McCarthy from his post on Tuesday.

The move arrived after Gaetz filed a motion to vacate the California Republican from the speaker’s chair.

Shitty headline. The word "drops" here is being used to mean "releases", not "withdraws".

The former sense is more typical in entertainment news ("new Taylor Swift album drops this Friday") whereas the latter sense is more typical in politics and legal news ("prosecutor drops murder charge against Taylor Swift", "Senator Swift drops controversial goat-staring provision from budget").

I understood what it meant, but maybe that's just because I know what a slimeball Matt Gaetz is. Sidenote my phone autocorrected "Gaetz" to "farts" and honestly that's perfect lmao

Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures.

Wait,.., T-Swift murdered someone?

I knew she wasn’t as nice as she’s made to seem…

“This is a lie from someone who doesn’t know me and who is coping with the death of the political career of his friend Kevin. Thoughts and prayers.”

Couldn’t give less of a shit about their infighting but I don’t know if I’ve seen someone from the GOP using T&P so clearly in the way they always mean it.

This is obviously before he got married

Is it, Markwayne?

[–] SkyezOpen 24 points 9 months ago

He used to do it. Still does, but used to, too.

[–] FuglyDuck 2 points 9 months ago

Sure.

It also happened after, too, but also before,

[–] [email protected] 25 points 9 months ago (2 children)

I can't get over the fact that his name is "Markwayne." Like his parents couldn't decide and had to give him a double first name.

During the birthing process in Oklahoma, there are massive amounts of meth and banjo playing involved. It's not uncommon for Oklahomans to have two sometimes three first names because of the excitement and meth.

Mostly because of the meth.

That's some funny shit

[–] [email protected] 13 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Guy with two first names vs. guy with two foreheads.

Amazing.

[–] Riccosuave 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Where I'm from we call that a "fivehead".

You're the third person I've seen say that in the last couple of days, and now I can't stop thinking about it. The resemblance is truly uncanny 😂

Jim Jordan looks like an aged Beavis. It all fits.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

If you have Upscayle modify a picture of Butthead using one of the realism settings, it spits out a picture of Matt Gaetz.

Please post for research purposes. Thanks in advance.

[–] weedazz 25 points 9 months ago (3 children)

I thought this type of stuff was well known about Gaetz?

[–] [email protected] 20 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It is. The ‘news’ is this is maybe the first time a republican has acknowledged it.

[–] Zombiepirate 19 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) (1 children)

And obviously in revenge for nuking the GOP conference in the House.

Funny that betrayal of the Republican party elicits a bigger response than trying to overthrow the goddamn government.

Not when overthrowing the government is the point.

This story is from April, 2021.... so yeah nothing new here.

Gaetz showed nude pictures of women on House floor, per report

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Florida Republican Representative Matt Gaetz allegedly bragged about his sexual escapades with women and showed his colleagues in Congress nude pictures of the women he slept with, according to a new report from CNN.

Gaetz is under investigation after allegations surfaced he had a relationship with a 17-year-old girl in 2019, per a report in the New York Times. The probe includes a Justice Department inquiry into potential violations of federal sex trafficking laws. Authorities are looking into whether the congressman paid the teen to travel with him across state lines.

According to sources with CNN, Gaetz allegedly showed nude images with leaders on the House floor. A source told CNN one image showed a naked woman with a hula hoop.

Gaetz denied the accusations. "I have a suspicion that someone is trying to recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something more untoward," Gaetz said in a statement to the New York Times.

Gaetz also claims he's the target of a $25 million extortion plot involving an attorney in Pensacola who used to work as a federal prosecutor. The law firm, Biggs & Lane, in Pensacola, called the claims, "False and defamatory."

[–] Beetschnapps 2 points 9 months ago

The correct follow up to this statement would be for the reporter to confirm gaetz’s partner’s Venmo handles.

I hope this is the true death of the 11th Commandment, “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.”

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago

Trump is their new god and he never abided by it; I'd say it's well and truly dead.

[–] Chainweasel 1 points 9 months ago

They always brought in the crazies because they "would rather have them in the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in." but this new breed that came with Trump is standing in the tent and pissing all over the floor.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I can go all night with none of that because I have self control.

Matt Gaetz and his kind have no brains whatsoever and need to be ousted.

[–] FuglyDuck 0 points 9 months ago

I mean; I might need the energy drinks. I ain’t as young as used to be, and all nighters are exhausting..,

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago

given what we know about the rest of matt gaetz sexual experiences this is disgusting

[–] xc2215x 1 points 9 months ago

Matt is such an odd dude.
