Phone screenshot showing time as 7:02 AM, Saturday, March 16. Notification is showing an "upcoming alarm" of Saturday 6:00 AM which shouldn't be possible. Multiple question marks drawn nearby, expressing my frustration.

I guess it's next Saturday then. Also rip for having to get up that early on a weekend

It only shows the "Upcoming Alarm" if the alarm is within 2 hours (or some hours idk specifically). This was a legit bug.

6am is within 2 hours of 7:02am though. No problem here code lgtm

I've got something interesting too.

No alarm rang. I picked up the phone, no notifications. I opened the clocked app and suddenly got "missed alarm" notifications.
No shit Sherlock.

Oddly my alarm also failed to go off this morning but presented a missed alarm notification, but I'm using a Samsung. Surely it's coincidence.

Did you have to manually unlock your phone instead of fingerprint or whatever?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Nope.
I even disabled battery saving for clock app, locked it in recents, disabled cache clearing when device is locked.
This only happened to me twice after these precautions, but, MIUI. It's quite buggy, so I don't know if it's power saving or just buginess.

Why's you'se all's getting up at 6 am on a Saturday?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

I don't. I just have that alarm so that I have the satisfaction of dismissing it and going back to sleep.

Did it at least go off for you at 6?

The last time I had a big similar to this my alarm didn't go off

For me it was because I needed to alter the config on DnD mode on my phone to disable when an alarm goes off

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Nope, I didnt hear it. DnD wasn't enabled either.

What does Dungeons and Dragons have to do with alarm clock? /j

I have a physical alarm for situations just like this. I’m always worried this shit is going to happen with my phone. There have been times where for no reason the alarm volume is way down and I was lucky to hear it. I also have my lights set to turn on slowly 10 min before I wake up, which also helps. I’m not fucking around with missing my alarm.

I also set three, even though I never wait to get up after the first.
