That’s my second most favourite trait of trans people.

I get the impression she has very little "real world" experience, particularly with people.
I watched my mom go through a lot of bad relationships and thought the exact same thing.
Sometimes people can't get out. Sometimes they don't think they want to, until something finally gets through to them.
I don't blame her. You can't help who you love. It is really sad, though.
Why single out pronouns. Let's all pile some hate on adverbs and prepositions while we're at it. Ffs as if people wanting to be addressed using different language is something worth thinking about when there's literally a climate catastrophe that will kill billions on the way.

Narcissism has been used to refer to very toxic personality traits since forever, and you can use the word to describe an asshole who is a narcissist. A patient with NPD is someone who accepts that those traits are negative and is trying to outgrow them, which is definitely not all narcissistic people.
