Just a friendly reminder that a mediocre product lasted longer than their hateful beliefs.

What's this talk of mediocre? The Zune actually kind of rocked. I liked the UI a lot more than what the iPod had. Moving in on Apple in the portable music space in the mid 00s would be like starting a small grocery store in a rural town where a Walmart already exists.

Fools, the lot of you. The Confederacy didn't die. It went the way of the Roman Empire and has ascended into a religion. Rome realized borders are a restriction and became Catholicism. The Confederacy has become a two-pronged spear of Prosperity Gospel and Evangelicalism.

Never really thought of it that way but God damn. I'll need to chew on that one

I had a boyfriend who rocked one of those bad boys. Maybe I should have taken it as an early sign that he clings to things that just aren’t going to work out.

That's why I proudly fly my Zune flag off the back of my Miata.

Things that lasted longer than the Confederacy:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003)

The Nickelodeon run of You Can't Do That On Television (1981-1990)

Tom Baker's portrayal of The Doctor on Doctor Who (1974-1981)

The AMC Gremlin (1970-1978)

The Ford Pinto (1971-1980)

The reign of the Petronas Towers as the tallest buildings in the world (1998-2004)

The partnership of the Cookie Crisp Crook and his dog, Chip (1990-1997)

Take that back. The Zune wasn't mediocre at all.

I had a Zune 120gb loaded with movies in high school, it was glorious. Also the build of the zune hd was beautiful

If you've seen a trump rally the confederacy is alive and thriving.

I like the image but disagree with the text: thier hateful beliefs didn't begin or end with the confederacy...
