I was doubting if I'm too old to get the reference, or if it's a legit complaint from the kids.
Also, what's wrong with "chat"?
Some kids talk to an imaginary stream chat like a streamer would.
Ex.- "Chat, is this real?" Or "Can you believe this, chat?"

Probably phrased something like how a streamer might speak, “chat, are we ____?” which I could imagine getting old 2.5 milliseconds after the class starts saying it on repeat.

Tweaking once was chemsex when it wasn't experimenting with the fine-tuning of your amateur radio array.
Now its erratic behavior like someone on stimulants trying to fine tune their radio array to pick up alien chatter.
Tweaking has been plain meth use for a loooooooooong time, not sure what the kids mean by it now

If I were a kid in this class, I would've abused the hell out of that loophole. (And suffered the consequences, but finding and exploiting the technical ways to skirt a teacher's stupid rules was always worth it.)

As a Gen-X’er I read this and started wondering what “Gyatt” means…. As an (ex-)redditor I know not to ask.
It is a reference to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. Gen alpha is very interested in the history of international trade and the rise of the global market economy.
