Regular algorithm is a piece of shit that won't even reliably show me new episodes of a series I'm currently watching, so at least it can't get much worse.

Of course, then you could see how few titles they actually have.
Maybe even let you filter by genre in a meaningful way, instead of each returning the same list
It'd be nice to just see what I can watch. Rentals, live TV, and things that require a separate subscription all seem to be haphazardly mixed together making it very difficult to tell what is included in the subscription

I understand dark patterns and their objectives. Unfortunately for Amazon it just means that the only reasons I ever open their App is for The Boys and Invincible and also why I wouldn't pay for it
Despite my criticisms, I use Amazon Prime Video quite a lot. It's one of the best platforms for finding random horror movies, and that's totally my jam.
I used to find it surprisingly good, but entirely stopped after the previous redesign where they added ads, removed choices to only look at things without extra cost, and in general made the dashboard less usable.
Then they wanted extra money to not insert commercials? Fuck that. Let me help you save money by not using it
