When's the dress coming back? Toga, kilt, long tunic etc. The balls desire airy freedom!

[–] [email protected] 28 points 5 days ago

Be the change you wish to see in the world!

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In 9 points 5 days ago

Even kilts have fashion cycles

Can't wait for baggy again, my nuts can't take the skinny phases.

[–] [email protected] 62 points 5 days ago (5 children)

You know it's possible to simply not give a duck to trends? I know, it sounds insane, but just do whatever you like. Try a skirt if you want, I bet it's nice on the balls.

Shit, now I want to try a skirt!

[–] Dagnet 30 points 5 days ago (6 children)

Problem is finding stuff that isn't trending. My favorite brand for jeans that was super comfortable, cheap and durable stopped making baggy jeans, so I had to shop elsewhere which was much more expensive

It can be hard to find the pants you like "off cycle".

Just wear classic Levi's, dude. That's what I've done the whole time.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 days ago

We’re back to baggy baby. The time has come

Great. I need to restock my supply of comfortable pants so I can survive the next skinny pants winter

All of these options are still better than spending full price for a pair of jeans that were lovingly crafted to start with holes in them!

[–] ammonium 5 points 5 days ago

Full price? Paying extra for someone to ruin your pants and their lungs you mean

[–] victorz 12 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Where I live, every goddamn girl is wearing yoga pants.

And I'm not complaining.

[–] AngryCommieKender 3 points 3 days ago

I hope yoga pants never go out of style.

Just embrace being old and wear sweatpants or cargo shorts everywhere.

[–] fritobugger2017 3 points 4 days ago

Team cargo shorts checking in. Live in SE Asia and can wear them every day of the year.

[–] frickineh 9 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I wear a lot of cargo joggers, which are really the best of both worlds. 10/10. I usually have to buy them in men's because of the eternal struggle for pockets, but it's worth it.

I just discovered the running shorts with built in underwear. Amazing.

[–] aidan 6 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (3 children)

Um... I think those are bathing suits

My pants should be loose up top for my cock and balls while being more well fitted past the knee so they dont catch on stuff. Fuck all ya im right.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago (2 children)

So Justin Bieber circa 2014, i.e. dropcrotch pants, aka diaper pants.

I think those are some of the most hideous pants ever. Or do you mean like Swiss Guard pants?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Duluth cargo pants that I got in my first year of highschool that have just kinda ended up being that way after avout a decade. I have been five foot fucken five since I was 14.

Saw a young dude at the movies wearing Jnco Jeans. The cycle is almost complete.

[–] Thteven 4 points 4 days ago

My son just asked me the other day if I had any JNCOs in my closet that he could have lmao

[–] [email protected] 5 points 5 days ago

The 17yo summer worker at my job wears jnco jeans

[–] [email protected] 24 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I buy them with stretch denim. When I'm fat they fit and whem I'm fit they fit.

I'm now topping up for my winter fat cycle.

i hate slim/skinny pants and i dont know why anyone ever likes them. they look bad (my opinion) and they are so uncomfortable. baggy pants superiority !!!

[–] GoosLife 30 points 5 days ago (2 children)

This, but literally the opposite lol

[–] nyctre 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Tried both, think both are weird. Prefer a normal or slim fit.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Tried both, hate both. Pooh-bear at all opportunities.

respectfully, how do u find baggy pants uncomfortable ?

[–] Demdaru 14 points 5 days ago

Not OC but they drag behind the leg when moving, like to get caught on things and quite often drag on the ground. With slim/skinny it's just your leg. Comfy, secure and with good pants, not limiting movement in any noticable capacity. Alas personally I prefer slim than skinny.

[–] GoosLife 9 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Well, it obviously depends on the style of fabric. Soft and loose fabrics can be good to have baggy, such as sweatpants or flax-based summer clothes. But specifically for the type of jeans shown here, I don't like the tactile feel of the excess fabric. And it catches on itself and gets in the way.

I don't like skinny jeans either, to be fair, but slim fit is good for me. Im also italian, if that explains it.

While everyone is entitled to their preferences, if it's not a tapered fit then they're wrong.

/s

(But tapered fit is my preference though. Looks much classier than either extremes)

[–] not_that_guy05 18 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Jokes on you. I haven't changed styles since 06. DCs fat shoes and Dickies or loose jeans.

I wish I still had my JNCOs.

Or I should get one of those man skirts, like what the guard dude in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon wore.

I don't think I would like skinny jeans even if I was skinny.

[–] AngryCommieKender 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Kilts FTW. Not only do they allow you to take a shit on the battlefield easily, it also makes it far easier to teabag your fallen foes.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Are kilts only short? 🤔

The thing I was referring to previously is like a long skirt. Almost like you took a dress and just wore it from the waist down. I don't know what those would be called, but I want one so bad.

[–] AngryCommieKender 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Every kilt I've ever worn comes to the bottom of my knees. That's a few inches longer than normal, normally they reach the top to middle of your knee-cap. They could be longer I suppose, but that inhibits the previously mentioned pooping abilities.

Edit: upon further research, there's something called a "great kilt" that extends further down your shins.

[–] Smoogs 11 points 5 days ago

Cycle is getting tired of something -> forgetting you got tired of the thing. Rinse repeat

[–] iarigby 8 points 5 days ago

I’m gonna buy enough baggy pants while they’re available to survive the next skinny cycle
