Can't wait for baggy again, my nuts can't take the skinny phases.

[–] [email protected] 64 points 5 months ago (5 children)

You know it's possible to simply not give a duck to trends? I know, it sounds insane, but just do whatever you like. Try a skirt if you want, I bet it's nice on the balls.

Shit, now I want to try a skirt!

[–] Dagnet 32 points 5 months ago (6 children)

Problem is finding stuff that isn't trending. My favorite brand for jeans that was super comfortable, cheap and durable stopped making baggy jeans, so I had to shop elsewhere which was much more expensive

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago

Seriously. I bought new jeans two weeks ago. I went to multiple different stores. My choices were skinny jeans, a different brand of skinny jeans, or a different brand with a different style of skinny jeans.

Oof, those are pricey. I need to get a sewing machine.

[–] sunbrrnslapper 6 points 5 months ago (1 children)

They are super high quality, made in the US and are actually a good company - so at least your money is well spent. It's a solid investment.

It can be hard to find the pants you like "off cycle".

Just wear classic Levi's, dude. That's what I've done the whole time.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago

We’re back to baggy baby. The time has come

Just embrace being old and wear sweatpants or cargo shorts everywhere.

[–] frickineh 9 points 5 months ago (2 children)

I wear a lot of cargo joggers, which are really the best of both worlds. 10/10. I usually have to buy them in men's because of the eternal struggle for pockets, but it's worth it.

I just discovered the running shorts with built in underwear. Amazing.

Um... I think those are bathing suits

When's the dress coming back? Toga, kilt, long tunic etc. The balls desire airy freedom!

Even kilts have fashion cycles

All of these options are still better than spending full price for a pair of jeans that were lovingly crafted to start with holes in them!

Great. I need to restock my supply of comfortable pants so I can survive the next skinny pants winter

I buy them with stretch denim. When I'm fat they fit and whem I'm fit they fit.

I'm now topping up for my winter fat cycle.

Jokes on you. I haven't changed styles since 06. DCs fat shoes and Dickies or loose jeans.

i hate slim/skinny pants and i dont know why anyone ever likes them. they look bad (my opinion) and they are so uncomfortable. baggy pants superiority !!!

[–] GoosLife 30 points 5 months ago (2 children)

This, but literally the opposite lol

[–] nyctre 8 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Tried both, think both are weird. Prefer a normal or slim fit.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago (2 children)

Tried both, hate both. Pooh-bear at all opportunities.

respectfully, how do u find baggy pants uncomfortable ?

[–] Demdaru 14 points 5 months ago

Not OC but they drag behind the leg when moving, like to get caught on things and quite often drag on the ground. With slim/skinny it's just your leg. Comfy, secure and with good pants, not limiting movement in any noticable capacity. Alas personally I prefer slim than skinny.

[–] GoosLife 9 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Well, it obviously depends on the style of fabric. Soft and loose fabrics can be good to have baggy, such as sweatpants or flax-based summer clothes. But specifically for the type of jeans shown here, I don't like the tactile feel of the excess fabric. And it catches on itself and gets in the way.

I don't like skinny jeans either, to be fair, but slim fit is good for me. Im also italian, if that explains it.

Saw a young dude at the movies wearing Jnco Jeans. The cycle is almost complete.

Where I live, every goddamn girl is wearing yoga pants.

And I'm not complaining.

Cycle is getting tired of something -> forgetting you got tired of the thing. Rinse repeat

[–] iarigby 8 points 5 months ago

I’m gonna buy enough baggy pants while they’re available to survive the next skinny cycle

[–] [email protected] 7 points 5 months ago (3 children)

My pants should be loose up top for my cock and balls while being more well fitted past the knee so they dont catch on stuff. Fuck all ya im right.

Bell bottom jeans are evidence of this evolution in action.

I’m glad we lost some weight! Good job!

[–] [email protected] 6 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

There's also the top baggy, bottom tight and top tight, bottom flared cycle, and the waistline and foot-hemline go up and down, and they never sync back up to a style you have left over.

[–] fritobugger2017 6 points 5 months ago (2 children)

And here I am on the 10th year of wearing cargo shorts every day of the year.

I've definitely noticed lots of girls in particular starting to wear baggy jeans again.

Team Overalls

They're so much more comfortable than pants. I love Carhartts

...i've waited thirty years for pinch-rolling to become socially-acceptable again: is now my time to shine?..

[–] Thteven 13 points 5 months ago

I don't think scratching your balls in public was ever socially acceptable.
