Just think of how many hungry families could be fed with the money they're spending on a Superb Owl ad.
My first thought was, meh I don't want to watch that crap but I don't watch the superbowl so more power to them. But yeah that Billion dollars could have been used to house the unhoused or provide help to the migrants at the southern border that we are apparently getting invaded by

No, you need to be pushy and controlling if you're going to abuse religious faith for personal gain.
It's weird there aren't more "He Gets Us" parodies. Like, obviously you could do one with Satan, but what about a guy who makes custom vibrators and sex toys on etsy? Or maybe the reveal is that it's a kidnapper, and all the people are subtly asking for help, like that episode of the Twilight Zone with the psychic boy. "Sometimes, I feel like I don't hve control over my own life, and I just want to break free. but He gets us... He always gets us."
Most of the Satan-based parodies I saw were pretty bad. They used medieval woodcut style imagery with demons and such.
I think a better and more effective style would be to mimic the ads more closely, using the same font and modern stock imagery and pithy half-sentences that are devoid of real meaning, but done with a more subversive take.
You’d want something that they could almost pass along themselves if they didn’t read it too closely.
A pedophile in the church ad would ve hilarious.

Last time I accidentally ended up in a Hobby Lobby I asked an employee if there was an aisle for illegally stolen sumerian tablets, or if they were stored in the back.
She got extremely angry and threatened to call the police.
I was laughing as I walked out and she followed me, fuming, on the phone, calling the police.
Wonderful store, excellent customer service.
