I love that over on Reddit most of the content is still coming from Xitter. The only change is that they aren't posting direct links crediting the person who made it.
What a half-ass way to boycott a site.
Well, from what I've seen, they're really bad at boycotting things. They couldn't even handle "reddit blackout" in 2023 and most of redditors came back after a day.
Some of us are still here since they black out. I haven’t posted or commented on there since.
That's because it happens frequently, so people who are good at boycotting things leave gradually.
The only problem I have with x alternatives currently (both Bluesky and Mastodon) is that my favourite r34 artists havent really switched plattforms :(
Btw, Rule34-xxx is superior.

kinda funny, early Redditors like me used to think 9gag was never good lol, kinda like ifunny, so this is kinda like that Legolas gimli meme where it's like "never thought I'd join a 9gagger to fight for fediverse/anti corporate media" ya know?
Well, this was back in the ragecomics era, when it was literally 9 memes per tab. When they switched to infinite scrolling was when i was like “hmm, what is this reddit thing i keep hearing about”

Up to this day, I've never watched a pewdiepie video. I have no idea what he does/did. Same goes for Mr beast. I mean, I've heard the names, but I'm not intrigued whatsoever.

I never understood people posting porn to microblogging sites. What's the point of this? There are literally millions of other places to get porn already, it's like what the Internet was invented for.
There was a vibe to it before tumblr banned all the porn. Lots of actual real stuff that was made just because people wanted to without any intention to monetize. Just people having fun. But I’m not sure that exists anymore. I don’t think it was really efficient or anything but I guess if you’re just casually posting some anonymous nudes and share them with a bunch of people it would feel weird to upload that on pornhub.
Ant platform where you can share images will inevitably be used for porn
The entomologists will not be happy about their ant plantform being used for porn
