To be fair, thats what a school fight is like.

Bully punch someone, administrators dont care, you fight back, boom suspension and possible police intervention.

I was the victim of the bully. 😡

I hate bullies, putin is a bully.

Free Ukraine! Death to putin! Free Russia from Tyranny!

Ez logic. Bully them at another time!

(This is for school, and a joke. Not war )

I really don't think they understand how this whole war thing works.

Neither do many commenters online supposedly advocating for peace or saying that Ukraine fighting back is escalation.

To them, any number of Ukrainian lives is worth the 'moral high ground' of turning the other cheek.

That's like saying:

"We should just let Hitler take Europe. blah blah I want peace..."

🙄

They're not much better than the fascist cunts themselves. A little, since their end goal is different. But not much, since the course of action advocated results in the same outcome.

That was a popular sentiment at the time for a certain breed of white folk

Neville Chamberlain would be proud

Didn't Neville Chamberlain get a bad rap for this? IIRC his appeasement was to simply buy more time to prepare for the war.

Yeah and even when they did face the Nazis, the Brits were still using WWI tanks (or not much better), which were slow, got stuck easily, and barely offered any protection. They got lucky the Nazis chasing them to the coast were ordered to stop and that the citizens with boats used them to transport them back to the UK or WWII might have ended very differently.

And then the fact that they were on an island and were the head of an empire that spanned the world gave them even more time and resources to play catch up.

Hitler was also very upset when the Brits started bombing Germany instead of just focusing on dealing with the Luftwaffe bombing them.

To be fair, russia seems to have unmeasurable amount of influence over the world! He put Trump in office, probably for the second time too (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Links_between_Trump_associates_and_Russian_officials) and they caused Brexit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_interference_in_the_2016_Brexit_referendum#:~:text=Russian%20interference%20in%20the%202016%20United%20Kingdom%20European%20Union%20membership,of%20leaving%20the%20European%20Union.)

And more importantly those libtards with their morals are for Ukrainian freedom, so it must be bad bad thingy, no?

"Wait, you're telling me the people I'm attacking are allowed to retaliate?"

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 months ago

I'm pretty sure I saw the thread that inspired this. Spot on meme, good work.

I wonder why 'gopnik politics' isn't a real term yet.
