Few weeks ago I read up on A. Muscaria, picked up a couple in a local forest, decarboxydized them in an oven and drank tea with 4g of (poorly) dried mushroom. 3 days before sleep.

Holy mother of fungi, it's like having an antidepressant that, you know, works. Deep sleep duration increased from 10 to 19%. Walking up in the morning felt normal. Weed consumption dropped roughly by half.

Only after three evenings, effects are felt four days after, although waining.

I'm just a noise on the Internet, my words are worth nothing. But read up on the mushroom, it's definitely something different from what people think it is.

You should know how much time Christian monks spent reasoning about the foreskin of Christ.

It's a lot.

Long enough to postulate that once the Jesus ascended, his foreskin ascended as well and become. The. Rings. Of. Saturn.

Sky will never be the same, won't it?

Ah, another non mainstream source of inspirational knowledge is the Blindboy Boatclub podcast. Over years he produced a lot of episodes on the subjects of mental health and experiences delivered in a very democratic, relatable way. Mixed with crazy hot takes, like how Ney York disco was the original punk for/by LGBT community, seasoned with a thickest Limerick accent and storytelling. Delicious.

Happiness is not found. It's not an object, rather a state of perception. The more you'll objectify and discretize happiness, the less likely you're to achieve it.

That being said, usually drugs.

On a serious note, two books helped me to understand this mystery a bit more

  1. Zen Mind, beginner's mind by S. Suzuki
  2. Flow: the psychology of optimal experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

Now that you say that, average us candy bar contains 200..250 kcal a piece. That's about 1/7th of BMR of an average healthy male.

Just as Christianity is not a unified church, and is divided into Orthodox, Protestants, Catholics, evangelists, Baptists, and the bazillion of other denominations, Buddhism is very different ranging from extreme practices of Shingon sect, to a very practical philosophy of Dogen's Zen Buddhism.

Buddhism is many things, and religion as well.

Or, or! You drop 3 to become 47 states in their prime. Which would you pick?

Texas, Florida, South Dakota (just to fuck around).

Ergo Balkan people are spiritual gurus because that's their breakfast.
