Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

“We didn’t find any evidence because the sun was in our eyes, and there was a crosswind, and our moms told us to come home, and CIA interfered, and I lost my glasses, and…..”

Tbf, when they asked WHY they should interview basically random people, the GOP members of the committee refused to share information with the rest of the committee.

To be fair, that’s absolutely on-brand for Gym Jordan. The dude is an absolute, unrepentant shitheel of the highest order.

Living in rural Ohio, and it was absolutely wild seeing all the GOP primary ads advertising they were endorsed by Jordan. I like Ohio, but we are absolutely cooked if he is the standard for Ohio representatives

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 months ago

You like Ohio?

The rest of the committee probably wouldn't accept "because daddy vladdy said so"

That's how you know it's a good investigation!

There are only two kinds of people a Trumper will attack.

Anyone who isn't 100% loyal to the Leader.

People who are 100% loyal to the cause, but might be in their way.

Me when CIA denials are true for once

That makes sense. Brazil’s options seem to be socialism (Lula) or barbarism (bolsonaro). Biden may not like socialism but he seems to be aware that basically anything is superior to far right populist dictatorships

[–] Bernie_Sandals 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Yup, even that should be a big deal though. Throughout the entirety of the Cold War our foreign policy prioritized fascists over socialists to the point we backed many of them like Pinochet to overthrow their democratically elected socialist governments.

Now the Democrats are explicitly doing the opposite, I feel like that's a massive change.

[–] captainlezbian 2 points 7 months ago

Very true. Especially since Biden is an iconic member of Clinton’s third way. And given the American shift from “communism has the right to exist but not to expand” to “no communist states have the right to exist” in US foreign policy in the late 20th century this is even more impressive.

So will Hunter Biden be able to drag the GOP in court for libel and she them for damages?

[–] GladiusB 8 points 7 months ago

I kinda wanna see them be she'd.

[–] vegeta 11 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Of course, the Illuminati told them to

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 7 points 7 months ago

Your joke is Illuminaughty

[–] [email protected] 10 points 7 months ago

God I didn't realize the GOP committee members were refusing to share information with Democrats on the same committee. What a fucking joke.
