I can sleep in anything and anywhere. The secret is alcohol.

[–] M137 2 points 10 months ago

Well, sometimes it's no alcohol. When you don't have and can't afford any so you just sleep to get time to pass by.

You want to wake up and fend off the serial killers without pants? Pshh, good luck.

[–] FenrirIII 16 points 10 months ago

If I'm naked, I have the advantage.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You can wear things besides jeans to cover thine lower areas

[–] [email protected] 20 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Yeah, like jorts, or denim patterned sweats

[–] kautau 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

That's the one!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago

Don’t forget jeggings and jean skirts 😌

[–] Thcdenton 32 points 10 months ago

Im not weird I'm just drunk.

[–] Zess 29 points 10 months ago (2 children)

My roommate used to give me shit for falling asleep in jeans after we got stoned. Like bro how uncomfortable are your jeans because I don't even notice mine.

[–] systemglitch 6 points 10 months ago

I hate the feeling of sleeping in jeans. Jeans are useful, but I've never called them comfortable.

I wish I had your superpower to not notice them on.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

Burlap jeans.

[–] De_Narm 18 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It's like you've never owned a stretch jeans in your life, that shit is more comfortable than literally anything else I ever wore on my lower half.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

As a man, I've just discovered the joy of stretch denim in the last couple of years. Given up Levis for Luckys

[–] MagnyusG 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Doesn't Levis have stretch denim though?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

They do but they can be hard to find and also aren't nearly as good as lucky's. Not trying to shill but damn are they cozy

[–] Mediocre_Bard 16 points 10 months ago (2 children)

In bed in jeans right now. Belt too.

[–] artichokecustard 16 points 10 months ago

put your boots on, don't want to catch a cold

[–] Shady_Shiroe 5 points 10 months ago

Not the belt as well

[–] [email protected] 14 points 10 months ago

If im tired enough I can sleep in literally anything. But if I wake up again I will change clothes.

[–] Crack0n7uesday 10 points 10 months ago (3 children)

People who sleep with their socks on are even worse. Wake up with sweaty ass feet, nasty.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You don't understand, my feet and hands are REALLY cold all the time. So I either burry them under my blanket or they'll freeze off while the rest of my body evaporates from heat

[–] Crack0n7uesday 8 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

You might have Reynaud's Phenomenon, do your fingers and toes sometimes turn purple if it's really cold? It's a blood circulation condition, mostly harmless but a little bit annoying. It's a real medical condition, ask your doctor if you think you have it. If it's really bad you might want to take blood thinners.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

I kinda expected a comment like this. Although I already knew it's a medical condition I wasn't able to narrow down which one specifically.

do your fingers and toes sometimes turn purple if it's really cold

Well I don't really know about my feet but my hands certainly get blue-/reddish when cold enough (-°C outside for an hour or something). I thought everyone had that when it's cold enough

It's a blood circulation condition

Yeah, my blood circulation sucks ass

Thank you for looking out for a fellow Lemmy user. I greatly appreciate it :)

[–] Crack0n7uesday 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Yeah, I have it too, that's how I recognized the symptoms. You're not alone, and now you at least know what it is, it's not very common but other people do have it. At least you know you're not crazy and it is a real thing.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

My man, I don't need socks on to wake up with sweaty-ass feet. My feet are always moist :(

[–] peopleproblems 1 points 10 months ago

People who have sweaty ass feet are nasty.

My socks keep my feet warm because they ain't sweat in my life.

Which now that I think about it, seems really odd

[–] [email protected] 10 points 10 months ago

I really hate the thought of wearing clothes to bed that have been worn outside of my house - it feels like they're too "contaminated" for my bed. Also I couldn't sleep in jeans because the undercarriage needs to breathe!

[–] taanegl 9 points 10 months ago

They're one and the same.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

It's not the jeans that bother me. It's when my belt gets flipped sideways somehow and digs into my hip that fucking sucks. Like what woke me up this morning.

[–] CptEnder 8 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

Me, who's drunk and fully clothed, with shoes

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago

Drunk

Fully Clothed

Is it truly sleep if you wake up more tired than when you went to bed?

[–] JackLSauce 7 points 10 months ago

Is this uncommon?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago

Well then I must be a monster because I will sleep in whatever clothes I happen to have on. Doesn't matter if it's jeans, dress pants, or anything else.

[–] dopeshark 6 points 10 months ago

Bonus points if you also sleep with a bigass metal belt clip

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Why are you watching me in bed?

[–] LemmyKnowsBest 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Why are you wearing jeans in bed?

Ah yes. Being too poor to not sleep in your clothes for lack of heat in your house.

[–] systemglitch 4 points 10 months ago

Lack of blankets as well?

[–] 3ntranced 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I'd fall asleep in a 3 piece suit if I'm stoned enough.

Clothes is clothes.

[–] I_Has_A_Hat 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Well yea, suits are typically pretty smooth and comfortable, particularly the pants. Jeans are far worse.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

Not all jeans suck.

[–] PP_BOY_ 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Jeans are comfy to sleep in. Some big, thick fabric that drapes over my legs. Pick up a pair of Secret Denim jeans by Oni Jeans and you'll never want to take them off

[–] Sylver 4 points 10 months ago

Jeans and a Jean jacket? Don’t even need a sleeping bag at that point!

[–] RIP_Cheems 4 points 10 months ago

YOU DARE CALL UPON ME

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

I'm wearing 2 pants (one cloth and a jeans with a belt on top) cause it's cold outside and I slept wearing both yesterday... 🤷‍♂️

I do prefer without, but it has never really bothered me to sleep in anything I wear... 😅

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

Why is it weird? I mean, I don't wear a belt if I do sleep in my jeans, but since that wasn't specified in the meme I would assume it isn't relevant

[–] wonderfulvoltaire 3 points 10 months ago

I sleep in cargo pants. No buttons allowed just Velcro.

[–] nifty 3 points 10 months ago

Interesting study: https://journals.lww.com/jlgtd/Abstract/2019/07000/Exploring_Hygienic_Behaviors_and_Vulvodynia.8.aspx

Results: …Compared with women who reported never wearing tight-fitting jeans or pants, women wearing tight-fitting jeans or pants 4 or more times per week had twice the odds of vulvodynia (95% CI = 1.14–3.95)…
