Or how we call it in America: what?

It's the power of propaganda.

I believe that the judge on the case was married to a healthcare CEO. They'll judge shop as much as necessary to get a conviction.

Spent 4 hours in RDR2. Realized I hate westerns. It seemed like an ok game though

"Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666." (Revelation 13:16-18)

Reality has a known liberal bias.

ICE needs to be disbanded too

I've been watching One Piece with my kid for a long time now and we've bonded over it. So far, no other Anime has captured their attention and love like it. But we're episode 700-something and this shit will not end.

I enjoyed most of the show up until now.

  1. The storytelling has become straight garbage. There's more drama and ridiculous backstory than actual story. We spent 30% of the episodes watching depressing backstory (or old clips) that ultimately just serves as filler. It's just an absolutely ridiculous world where nothing makes sense even within its own rules.

  2. Each episode drags and drags and drags. There's no resolution to most of the fights until 12+ episodes after they began.

  3. Devil fruit powers seem to just be reality warping in whatever way the writer decides. No limits, do whatever you want and it just is. I can understand some of it, but it just becomes too much in this arc.

  4. All the characters are stupid. They behave stupidly and make the dumbest decisions. If it was entertaining, that would be something. It's just egregiously painful to watch it unfold.

Does it get better? Because this whole arc is an exercise in bad storytelling and terrible Anime.

It's playable and you can complete most of the content. There are bugs and you have to downgrade pre-NG, but it's stable and the work they did is incredible.

Fallout London, though not 100% finished, was a blast

The Forbidding Unlawful Representation of Roleplaying in Education, or FURRIES, Act, filed by Austin-area Republican State Rep. Stan Gerdes, would "prohibit any non-human behavior by a student, including presenting himself or herself, on days other than exempt days, as anything other than a human being."

The law would allow for exempt days, such as Halloween and other school dress-up days.

The law defines "non-human" behavior as "any type of behavior or accessory displayed by a student in a school district other than behaviors or accessories typically displayed by a member of the homo sapiens species," with provided examples being:

Using a litter box for the passing of stool, urine or other human byproducts

A personal or outward display, except during a school play or by a school mascot, through surgical or superficial means of features that are non-human such as using tails, leashes, collars or other accessories designed for pets

Using fur, other than naturally occurring human hair or a wig made to look like human hair

Artificial, animal-like ears

Other physiological features that have not historically been assigned to the human race through a means of natural biological development

Students who bark, meow, hiss or make other animal noises that are not human speech

Licking oneself or others for the purpose of grooming or maintenance.
