Agreed, I do find it interesting they're being protective of the IP at all given that it seems they've kinda given up on it and delegated it to just being about idol volleyball for that sweet mtx money. Maybe they do intend on making another game for the franchise. Honestly they should just go all in on the sexiness instead of their half-assed attempt at making is take them seriously.

Agreed, that's what I mean about the noise filter blending in the details, they have other pieces where there is no noise filter and the skin, although it has a lot of details like freckles, creases, etc. it still looks super smooth unlike real skin.
Realistically the legs are probably just actual drawings. Another likely reality is photoshop, to apply a noise filter, which would do a lot of heavy lifting in blending the details together to make it feel realistic.
Took me a minute to browse through their portfolio and twitter account to find that they have posted sketches, gifs, and even memes about their drawing process. Semi-realistic anatomy and hyper detail appears to be a large focus of their work. People need to stop accusing everything of being AI, it makes only you look the fool and is disrespectful to people that work hard to make their pictures look good.

not a steep price at all, Science Saru knew the people would want more and made the gap as small as possible, there's been bigger gaps in single seasons for some anime.
