It would be hilarious if the societal collapse caused by wealth inequality resulted in him getting murdered. I would laugh and laugh.

Seriously, just walk away from Reddit. You will feel better.

Well yeah, that other shoe is going to drop something fierce.

Shame to hear about another suicidal oligarch.

Yeah, our system sucks and political violence is taking hold. So, you know ... good, I guess.

I bet their CEO is not the only one who bleeds.

Jesus Christ. I guess we're just openly corrupt now. Save us St. Luigi.

I like this news. Especially after reading about the medication price increases that went into effect today in the US. Burn it down.

If you get cancer in the US it is better to die then seek treatment and push your family into poverty.

Too late now. Going to be stuck with him for a long time.

Add a few decades to any decision. You probably won't feel the same.

Every time I watch the news, I feel like we are living through the final act of Jojo Rabbit.

DM: "You exit the warehouse and make your way across the crowded market square. What measures do you take to avoid the suspicion of the guards?"

Paladin: "We walk like people who aren't covered in blood."

What did your group get up to last night?

This is about to be some real shit about a failing (failed?) marriage. Get out now if that is not for you.

My wife and I, both in our 40s, have been together for a long time, 20+ years. About 10 years ago our daughter was born and that was pretty good. I was stupid and had an affair during that first year because I was immature and, in retrospect, wasn't able to handle the shift in my wife's attention from me to my daughter.

We worked it out. We moved to a bigger house that is paid off. My mom died and left us all some money. Then my wife was diagnosed with MS about 4 years ago and things have been on the decline.

We haven't had sex in a year and neither of us again expects to. She has been depressed and I don't know how to help her. We recently, like yesterday, determined in a mutual discussion that we no longer had a romantic relationship, but that we had a good partnership for raising our daughter and generally handling life. While it was good to get an unspoken truth out there, it hurts. I think that we both feel lonely in the aching soul sort of way. Last night, when we went to bed, for first time that I can recall, she didn't say, "I love you," and neither did I. My Prozac is working overtime, and she shuts down when I suggest mental health support for her.

So, here's the question. What now?

I have been playing for about a month, and this game is amazing. There is so much content!

That's it.

This game is dope.

Cross of Auria has me playing 14 minutes in the last two weeks. However, I have not played this game in months.

Why would the playtime clock have time on it?

I appreciate this annual opportunity to reflect on mandatory policies for my district while creating D&D maps for my ongoing campaigns.

I find that the bureaucratic hellscape that is annual training really fuels the development of Kafkaesque mazes and puzzles that grind down my players' will to live.

How do you pass the time during mandatory online training videos?

This is why we can't have nice things.

The guys that made Solasta are looking for some input. It's a short survey but could be helpful in shaping whatever comes next.

Hey there everyone!

I hope you've all had a good weekend - I know many of you are very likely still lost in the world of Forgotten Realms right now (at least I was), living your best life as~~ a horny bard~~ an honest adventurer.

We'll be closing our Future Game Survey at the end of the week, so if you want to give us your preferences on what our next game should have please make sure you don't miss it.

I have stress dreams about work. Usually, they ease up in the summer, but begin to return in August.

Last night's dream was extra-special. I was co-teaching an overcrowded ebd classroom with none other than Marjorie Taylor Green.

I spent the period breaking up fights caused by Ms. Green insulting the students.

It's going to be a great year!

In the style of 2e dungeon poster map. a subterranean river has eroded away an entrance into a forgotten dungeon.

Different colored regions denote warring factions or changing dungeon themes.

When I ran this, I had the players fall into A 1 through a collapsing cave roof into a burrow of snakes, fight a dragon section B, encounter a colony of bat people (basically kobolds that fly) sections C, D, E, F, G, H, and then discover a small Myconid colony in section I. Section J, the river also presented random encounters, and serves as an alternate entrance and exit to this map.

Trolls have taken up residence in the caves surrounding this forgotten temple. Only when adventurers come to investigate the blocked river will they have a chance of finding something more.
