Imagine putting Alpha Male in your profile

Any man who must say 'I am king' is no true king at all

Who is the potato in the grey jacket?

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Nick Adams, self-proclaimed "alpha male"

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Dude has alpha’d his way through some cheeseburgers since taking his profile photo.

[–] Koppensneller 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Why is he wearing a mini-dress that looks like a men's jacket?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

He looks like scully in the 90ies

[–] Anonymousllama 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Old mate should have realised by now that you don't button up your suits when you're that fat, surely an "alpha male" would have known that

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

It's also a mismatched and ill-fitting suit to begin with. Dude looks like a child dressed I his dad's clothes.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago

What a bunch of losers lol

I wonder what his reaction was when he found out part of the movie's plot is Oppenheimer getting his security clearance revoked for his leftist past and associations.

[–] Gruntyfish 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

It'll probably be along the lines of Oppenheimer went woke, no wonder he went broke.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

I would have thought people of that ilk already branded Oppenheimer a dirty commie a long time ago.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

The movie theater wins either way.

Lmao me too I was so confused about what people were talking about

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I don’t understand what everyone else is talking about, this is just a horny gif post.

[–] Gruntyfish 7 points 1 year ago

It's pretty impressive how they've managed to go through the Ken Mojo Dojo Casa House arc without even seeing the movie.

[–] CADmonkey 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Oh, I didn't know I had to be AlPhA to not see the barbie movie, I was just sitting here not watching it because I'm not the intended audience.

My daughter and my wife did go to see it, my daughter liked it, wife was indifferent. And that's OK, not every movie needs to cater to every person.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You might be more in the target than you imagine. I learned an awful lot about the douche I was in my 20s from this movie.

[–] CADmonkey 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I had to figure out what a douche I was on my own.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

I thought I had done that as well. Turns out I'd missed a couple spots.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I hear it's a pretty damn smart and funny movie. I'd watch it if I was into movies, even though I'm definitely not part of the stereotypical Barbie movie target audience, either.

[–] CADmonkey 2 points 1 year ago

I usually can't sit still long enough for a movie, either.

[–] kokesh 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What's up with all these "alpha males" lately? They're usually weird and very unattractive from the first look. Does it mean "I don't care how I look, I don't need women", or maybe I simply don't get it at all.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

It's dudes getting their ideas of what women want in a man from other men, generally grifters, repackaging bad wolf science. I notice a certain type of dude falling for it, who doesn't trust women enough to be vulnerable and negotiate relationships but still wants access to women. Maybe they've been hurt before, or maybe they were raised with bad ideas of how women are. "alpha wolf" social status promises dudes that they'll be dominant and irresistible enough to find companionship without needing pussy shit like communication skills and emotional intelligence. But at the end of the day the only dudes getting anything out of it are the ones selling their guides to the lifestyle.
