In a Truth Social post Thursday evening, Trump canceled Monday’s event and said the report would not be released that day, either.

“Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings,” he wrote in the post. “Therefore, the News Conference is no longer necessary!”

ABC News reported Thursday morning that Trump’s legal advisers were actively urging him to call off the event, arguing that continued claims of election fraud could further complicate his legal problems in the Georgia case. NBC News has not confirmed the report.

Hell I'm still waiting for his detailed healthcare plan...

[–] [email protected] 56 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Or the report from the guys he sent to Hawaii for Obama's birth certificate.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Or the details of Melania's totally legal immigration story.

[–] [email protected] 29 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] Dressedlikeapenguin 12 points 1 year ago

And infrastructure week

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

You mean his Handler

[–] FlyingSquid 9 points 1 year ago

He said we wouldn't believe what the guys in Hawaii found. That's why he never showed us. We wouldn't believe it.

[–] grabyourmotherskeys 9 points 1 year ago

Biden started the Hawaii fires using space lasers to destroy the evidence that Obama was born in Kenya because Hillary is a werewolf who is secretly running the UN one world government from a complex under a pizza place where George Soros is disguised as Chef Boyardee.

Try to keep up.

Calm down, it’s coming right after infrastructure week!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

Will that be before or after Jared brings peace to the Middle East?

[–] SpezCanLigmaBalls 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Aren’t we still waiting for him to lock up Hillary also?

[–] xkforce 13 points 1 year ago

Oh the plan is very simple: let the poor and middle class die.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

Or his plan to transfer all of his businesses to his children to prevent conflicts with the Emoluments Clause…

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Here I am waiting on that check from Mexico for that wall. I hear its coming any day now.

[–] Silvus 5 points 1 year ago

two more weeks.

It was in the manila folders! It was there! Surely those weren't blank pages. Not at all!

To not do so is an admission of guilt. To do so is a criminal offense.

That is how you trap a compulsive liar.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Don't worry, his idiot base will chalk it up to the deepstate lawyers not wanting the truth to get out, or some asinine smooth brain logic that.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

It's remarkable that he is the guy we should trust to fight back against the deep state when all of his close aids and confidants including his actual attorneys keep being found to be part of the deep state. Clearly he doesn't have a great nose for sniffing them out.

[–] 86d 8 points 1 year ago

As often as they get arrested, he is doing an ok job.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

He will be like its not a statement its entertainment like fox did, no reasonable person with a brain would think I was telling the truth

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

I was so hoping for him digging himself deeper in the shit - or making himself the laughing stock (again).

Well, the popcorn has to wait. The DA will definitely ask him a lot of questions about this, and while the "best" Trump can do is pleading the fifth on each and every question including the one for his name, his ego will make him blab, and therefor lie.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 1 year ago

Obviously Four seasons landscaping couldn't accommodate his press conference and this is just his excuse.

[–] xkforce 34 points 1 year ago

All this supposed evidence and never posts a single shred of it and loses what? 60 cases in court over it?

[–] DrownedRats 33 points 1 year ago

You know, I'm starting to doubt he ever even had any irrefutable evidence that would prove his innocence that literally every one else seems to have missed!

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fuck, I was looking forward to the entertainment on Monday. Oh well.

[–] A_A 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know I know ! All that popcorn ...and biscuits ! ...and the jug of milk !

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And I almost had my pants off ... oh wait, wrong chat. Never mind carry on.

[–] Burn_The_Right 4 points 1 year ago

Oh, no... Please continue. Don't let us interrupt. Our entertainment plans are now as wide open as your um... Please continue.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday he will no longer hold an event to present what he called an “irrefutable report” about the 2020 election in Georgia.

Trump announced the planned “major news conference” Tuesday morning, the day after he and 18 other defendants were indicted in the election interference case in Georgia.

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In a Truth Social post Thursday evening, Trump canceled Monday’s event and said the report would not be released that day, either.

ABC News reported Thursday morning that Trump’s legal advisers were actively urging him to call off the event, arguing that continued claims of election fraud could further complicate his legal problems in the Georgia case.

Contacted about the ABC report earlier Thursday, two Trump allies expressed relief at the prospect of the event’s cancellation.

The original article contains 283 words, the summary contains 181 words. Saved 36%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings

And I know the text on that paper already: "This page was intentionally left blank"

[–] NatakuNox 15 points 1 year ago

Lol I'm shocked... Actually, not that shocked... Who am I kidding, we all saw this coming.

[–] books 12 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I mean duh.

There was zero chance he'd release anything.

[–] superduperenigma 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Still waiting on those tax returns...

[–] wookiepedia 3 points 1 year ago

But he can't release his taxes during Infrastructure Week.

[–] kometes 8 points 1 year ago

I expected a huge packet of statements from individuals who would rather flee the country than testify under oath.

[–] three20three 11 points 1 year ago

, I believe,

I wonder which lawyer stuck that in

[–] Magnergy 10 points 1 year ago

I don't know. Seems pretty cowardly to me. So does asking for delayed trial dates.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago

Fuck what am I supposed to do that morning now? :(

I have all this extra popcorn.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

whaaaaaattttt????? no way

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Once again he is called out for his stupid ignorance. He “blames” his lawyers for stopping this only because they know, as well as him, that it is all lies and fairy tales
