3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
Why do we care what the MAGAts think? They're too stupid to see that billionaires don't have their best interest at heart.
Because like it or not, they'll keep on voting. Making a percentage of them realize they're being taken advantage of might make a pivotal difference in this country's future.

A significant portion likely gets off on being intellectually humiliated by an attractive, successful woman... And then they hate themselves for it.
We're not kink shaming nobody. If they want to elect AOC on the sole premise they want her to stomp on their balls, I'm donating to her work boots fund.
People vote for candidates for such stupid reasons that it could literally be a case of "I recognize that name!"
Because beyond the racism, their issues are our issues. They're class issues.

AOC has been sort of amazing at identifying this. I remember after the election reading something about her asking people who voted for her and Trump: why?
Honestly, I live in republicanstan. A lot of the gripes and complaints and hopes and ideas are the same.
My father-in-law, now a diehard MAGA, was prepared to vote for Bernie in 2016. He's not an idiot, he was an electrical engineer back when they used slide rules and computer punch cards. It just shows you how people can truly not give a shit about policy and just vote on feels.

I know what you're saying is true, but it feels like we live on two different planets sometimes.
Yes, because they receive more targeted propaganda than us. Either in their churches or on their news.
Because they vote consistently no matter what. They don't have to be cajoled just to get them to the polls on election day. They understand that voting is literally the least you can do, not the most. That makes their opinion in a democracy extremely important despite their lunacy.
You should care. We should all care.
The big problem we have in this country isn't just a radical right, it's extreme divisiveness. Foreign and corporate powers have done their best to divide the US populace and pit us against each other. Why? Because that makes us easier to control, easier to manipulate, easier to deceive, easier to advertise to. And one of the keys goals they have is a complete breakdown of communication. At this point we're essentially speaking two different languages and don't even understand each other any more. As soon as you stop talking to the other side, you're letting the corpos and the despots win, because that's what they want. If you don't even care what the other side thinks, you're essentially giving up on the whole idea of these "United" States (and you're wandering ever closer toward another civil war).
Cause knowing how much they love trump and AOC feet pics is gonna help us somehow put our country back together, and transform it into something that isn't a horrifying mess like the last 200 years.
