And black people's mail in ballots were rejected at a rate NINE TIMES higher than white people's. There are other little things like this.
Voter suppression gave the Midwest states to Trump. We need to make sure everyone knows it.

The government can demand unpublished journalism materials, and CBS has the right to tell them to fuck off, which they would if they have any integrity left.
The cost for integrity in an authoritarian system is very very high.
We can't expect them to have integrity until we are willing to be in the streets.

If the interview was broadcast, there must be video recordings, so what is the big deal about unedited transcripts? They can watch the video and see what she said.

Please don’t. Trump’s absolutely unique blend of incompetence, self-assurance, and vigor is one of the few bright spots in this whole thing. If someone who is capable gets to sit at the controls of the machine that’s been created, you can fucking say good night.

I mean, I don't know the details of the thing here, but their authority really extends just over what goes out over the air. I don't think that they have any special authority over the inner workings of companies, just because they happen to be in the news business.

They can ask for it, but that doesn't mean that CBS has to do it, and if they want to take it to the courts, then they're going to need to have a legal argument.
