"Rich asshole with inflated ego acts like rich asshole with inflated ego, more at 10"

Everybody continues to listen to him.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 week ago

Just because we hear him doesn't mean we're all listening.

Maybe someone should liberate the people of the USA

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I'm sympathizing with Ye Wenjie (Three-Body Problem) a lot more lately.

[–] shyguyblue 6 points 1 week ago

Totally. Can we start shooting radio waves at the sun, just to see what happens!?

[–] DicJacobus 5 points 1 week ago

Should have dealt with Russia first. Now we're blessed with the vicious-idiot tagteam of Fascist Imperialist Russia, and Corpo-Fascist imperialist? america tag-teaming.

The U.K. and the E.U. are gonna have to figure out something to do against Musk, because now that the U.S. has fallen Musk and the rest of the manosphere are focusing their attention to supporting far-right groups abroad. Personally, I think banning Xitter is the easiest and most effective first step for them to take, as it will greatly limit Musk's ability to control social discourse in these countries.

[–] [email protected] 49 points 1 week ago (2 children)

As an American and former soldier, fuck no. Why should any American spend their life "liberating" a country that is arguably freer than we are?

[–] FenrirIII 8 points 1 week ago

Because it's not liberating, it's conquering for corporate interests.

[–] Maggoty 2 points 1 week ago

I mean it would be nice to fight in a country that has an actual winter though...

[–] breadsmasher 41 points 1 week ago

the world needs to be liberated from muski

[–] [email protected] 34 points 1 week ago (1 children)

UK should declare him an enemy of the state w/a standing arrest warrant with talk like that. Would serve him right to never be allowed over their airspace again.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

We can dream, though I'm sure the PM is a coward and won't do anything as drastic as that.

The EU is quickly becoming a fascist federated fuckfest and Elon would probably get a gold-rimmed invitation card soon.

It sounds to me like Musk, acting as a goverents representative, is making wild threats against our allies. Maybe he's trying to sew division between us and our allies to help Russia and China?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago
[–] MITM0 0 points 1 week ago

The good-ol "it must be a Russian/Chinese conspiracy" schtik😂 He's just that dumb

[–] CharlesDarwin 24 points 1 week ago

I'm already so sick of these jackasses and they aren't even in office yet.

Casually suggesting an act of war against a nuclear armed country to own the libs.

Musk should read about the British nuclear doctrine before making further jokes. (TLDR, It's a system similar to the dead hand, except its not automated, even if the state falls, the nuclear subs are still out there prowling with their final orders)

[–] Maggoty 5 points 1 week ago

Yup, that's a pretty standard feature of all nuclear armed nations. The final order of all missile forces is launch with pre-programmed targets. It's one of the reasons strategists think it's very likely that a single nuclear strike on a nuclear power could cause a chain reaction of everyone launching nukes.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 week ago

Better take this seriously or musk will instruct his underling to send in the us military.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 week ago (2 children)

He’s part of the incoming government, why isn’t this a declaration of war?

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice 5 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

The EU & UK should ban all future sales of any of his products and companies he is tied too. The the companies can sue the shit out of Musk when they kick him to the curb.

[–] FlowVoid 3 points 1 week ago

A declaration of war requires an act of Congress.

I'm starting an office pool, who's going to lose their life first. Musk, or Trump.

Sovereignty is nothing to joke about, the more you push your jokes, the more people will take it as a threat. and a threat to sovereignty is something people will absolutely kill over.

[–] andxz 5 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I doubt it'll end in anything other than a disaster for Musk eventually, but he's going to do a lot of damage in the meantime.

Trump probably bites it first though, because of his age if nothing else.

[–] Pilferjinx 11 points 1 week ago

Absurd distraction! It's very effective. How about them H1B slaves Elon?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 week ago
[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 week ago

Who liberates the people from the oligarchic corruption?

[–] 800XL 7 points 1 week ago

Why doesn't ihe gov't of South Africa liberate the people of Britain? Why would America need to do it? Fuck you Elon.

[–] Treczoks 7 points 1 week ago

Just disable X in the UK and thus remove his hate platform.

And I would not mind if Europe followed this move.

[–] ODuffer 5 points 1 week ago

Fuck off ya prick.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

Napoleonic vibes

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago

All these "news" stories basically glorifying every fascist move by Musk and Trump and their countless minions, like watching carnival geeks passively, laughing, as they plan on murdering us all. No stories on concerted efforts to stop the destruction on the precipice. We are so fucking lazy, and the internet has allowed us to sit back, and think we can watch, right up until the wave overtakes us all individually. But hey, can you believe that crazy thing that guy did, crazy right, hahahaha, oh look they're doing another deceitful damaging hurtful thing over there, hahahaha, next

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

So he is trolling using a Twitter bot and everyone is angry? Mission accomplished.

[–] Treczoks 2 points 1 week ago

I think it is high time to liberate the world from X-

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago

I mean, yes, after we do it at home first.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago

What a whiner.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago

What we need liberating from is Elon. Man acts like he's the new Jesus, when in reality he's a fanatical narcissist who used immense generstional wealth to cheat his way to the top on the shoulders of true innovators, whom he kicked out once their start-ups got successful enough
