Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Can we make a concerted effort to get under Trump's skin by calling him VP to President Musk?

[–] [email protected] 29 points 1 month ago

Vice to the President.

Someone should take the Trump/Vance posters and turn them into Musk/Trump. That ought to get under his orange peel.

Someone should take the Trump/Vance posters and turn them ~~into Musk/Trump~~ into Musk/Vance.

Cut Trump's name out entirely, so he doesn't even get a mention.

[–] PP_BOY_ 4 points 1 month ago

Only as long as we make Trump's name in very small letters

[–] BenLeMan 6 points 1 month ago

I mean, he has added plenty of vice to the presidency.

We need to keep needling him. If successful, it would be incredibly fun to see him turn on Musk like he’s done to pretty much everyone else.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago (2 children)

So you believe the cult of trump is stronger than the cult of musk?

[–] Veedem 18 points 1 month ago

Musk is far wealthier and controls X, but Trump’s cult is locked to him.

It would be an incredibly funny implosion of their relationship.

Honestly at this point I have no idea.

I agree: the Venn diagram of Elmo fanboiz and donvict's fanboiz has a lot of overlap.

The fact that this loser still doesn't grasp that he's nothing but a puppet to smarter, wealthier people and corporations is a testament to how stupid he truly is.

The guy's a corpse being propped up with duct tape to make other people money. Weekend At Bernies, except it's our national reality now.

Why be the president if you can just buy the present? No term limits, no accountability.

It's the art of the deal.

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Of course he won't be President. That would be a downgrade of his current position.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago

Just as an aside, if one guy can be CEO of 3 different companies and be whatever he is to Trump, none of those jobs are that hard.

"Musk told me I still get to sit in the Big Boy chair."

Elon Tesla is a great man. A great great man. I spoke to him just the other day and asked him. I asked him,"you would be a great president! you want to be president?" He swore up and down, shouting from the streets even, that he wants me as president! "Nobody can do as good a job as you Mr Trump!" I ruffled his hair and told him he can be president of he wants after I fix everything. But right now, we're going to Make America Great Again together! Like two daddies!

Narrator: He did.

[–] psmgx 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Very real possibility he'll be speaker of the house tho

[–] ovalofsand 1 points 1 month ago

Robber baron in the house!
