Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Summary

MAGA activists and speakers at the AmericaFest conference in Phoenix rejected bipartisan compromise, demanding “hyperpartisanship” to implement Trump’s agenda.

Bannon derided House Speaker Mike Johnson’s efforts to prevent a government shutdown, while Trump Jr. urged targeting Republicans who oppose his father’s policies, calling the GOP the “America First party.”

With Trump-backed Cabinet picks facing scrutiny and slim congressional majorities, tensions remain high.

Critics warn the MAGA movement’s hardline stance could hinder governance and deepen partisan divides as Trump prepares to take office.

No one who has to scream "I'm in charge!" is actually in charge.

So much for the 'United' States ... The only way you keep people or a country united is if they want to be united by choice .... you can't force a country to stay united under the rule of one person or one group or one party.

Many others have tried that before and they did get their way for a while ... but they never lasted.

But why would we trust the lesser businessman? Clearly the wealthiest businessman is the president of USA Ltd.

It's a depressingly accurate to treat the presidency as a limited liability entity, since now the president is beyond criminal prosection.*

Democratic president results may vary.

So, they won with 1.6% delta and that's a mandate for this kind of shit?

Well, FUCK THAT.

I know Americans have the memory of an amoeba, but hopefully, someday they can collectively remember that just because a party says the government isn't working for you doesn't mean that they want it to.
