I was added as a mod to a community by surprise a while back - Lenovo. I donβt actually know much about Lenovo. It seems like the system should ask for your confirmation - people could be added to subs they donβt want to be associated with.
Fuck AI
"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"
A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
The list of moderators is quite long
That happened to me on Lemmy Shitpost one day. But I've tried to roll with it. Good luck.
Jury duty. Now gain 100 kilos and harass women online

Well, I do appreciate the offer, but I'm going to remove myself. I don't think I'm passionate enough on this topic to motivate myself to make time for anything resembling any kind of actual moderation duties. I say this with no snarkiness intended, this is just the naked truth, and would likely be true no matter what sub this was. I don't think I can remain a moderator (even an inactive one) in good faith.
Thank you all!
OK, today I'm a mod again somehow. In the modlog I can see the timestamp from when I removed myself. I do not see an entry where I was re-modded, for whatever reason. @[email protected] I'm removing myself again now. If you happen to know how I keep being added as a mod, please make that thing stop. :)
Yep, same here. No idea what happened
