I'll say it again, I like using Linux as much as I like using subs

[–] [email protected] 20 points 6 months ago (1 children)

...pardon me, but what does "subs" mean in this context

does it mean what I think it means

[–] [email protected] 39 points 6 months ago (1 children)

If you think it means submissive people who like to be dommed in bed, then you'd be correct

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I can take a deep look at your system, I can make sure everything works with some regular, thorough maintenance

I think I'll start with a live boot, so let me insert my drive. I'll take the back port though, front usb is fiddly sometimes.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 months ago (1 children)

You have crashed the sub-sytem

[–] [email protected] 13 points 6 months ago (1 children)

As long as it's crashing at my place

[–] [email protected] 8 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Imagine not kissing your OS goodnight before shutdown now smh

[–] mriormro 26 points 6 months ago (4 children)

People talking about an os like it's their damn personality.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 6 months ago

My personality is being paranoid, linux just comes naturally

[–] [email protected] 12 points 6 months ago

Free(as in libre) software movement IS my personality

Dont go to an arch sub and especially not an arch dom

[–] [email protected] 7 points 6 months ago

At first it was a preference, now it's part of my morality

[–] [email protected] 24 points 6 months ago

I do indeed :3

[–] [email protected] 16 points 6 months ago (3 children)

Whatever gets the job done, frankly.

There's things Linux excels at. There's things Windows is better at. Hate me for saying that, but I use what's needed and is better and quicker for the task.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 6 months ago

I honestly try to use Linux whenever possible as I do not like giving away too much data to Microsoft. Sometimes windows is the only option so I have a vm ready. Nowadays Linux support is at a much better place as I don't need bare metal windows

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana 4 points 6 months ago

I totally agree. I don't say this to be a Linuxaboo, I only switched from windows because it started acting up and I heard it has gotten better in the gaming department. I had no reason to stay. Whatever gets the job done.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 months ago

Shoot dang that's good art

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago

You got me dead to rights there.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago (1 children)

The real reason Tim Sweeney's afraid of Linux.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 months ago

He knows it will corrupt him

[–] [email protected] 4 points 6 months ago

I suppose so. I am replying on a Linux Laptop (formerly a Chromebook).
