So anyways Striker as I was saying before we were interrupted, we really need people to be inclusive here in lemmy to encourage participation.
On an extremely good day. Rest of the time I was just ignored
Still not the worst outcome. On multiple occasions I've been ignored by everyone but one guy who repeated the joke verbatim and got everyone to laugh
Had that happen to me once or twice. I just stopped talking to those people and tried again with other people. I've found a few people that way that made it in my circle of friends. And that's why my circle is so small,and that'd OK with me
Lol what do you even do in this situation? I don't even know what I did wrong, just trying to connect

Why do you need to do something in particular?
It's like Wi-Fi. If the attempted connection failed, try again. If it keeps failing, restart your router/life.
