The number of clients I get who are clearly struggling with the burden of "what a man is and isn't" would astound you... Hint: It's a lot!

No, boys aren't OK...

Just be you, friends!

As a former boy... Yeah... Shit sucks.

Damn. Being a boy was so rough, it made you change teams?!

You are now on RED!

The teams have been autobalanced

Getting constantly punished for being "weak" and showing emotions kinda does create problems it appears. Apparently it's not very healthy to ignore emotions and pretend to be stronger than you are. It took quite a while to get over that.

There's so much wrong with the expectations on men set by media and by society. Change is happening, but there are plenty of people who seem to want to keep things this way. Grown up men who still perpetuate all this bullshit, constantly kicking down on any minority group or anyone who stands out just to look tough.

Men struggle too. It was dumb to assume otherwise, but that's what was done.

Man up, sit down Chin up, pipe down Socks up, don't cry Drink up, don't whine "Grow some balls," he said "Grow some balls"

I'm remembering the meme about the girl destroying her cheating now-ex boyfriend by pointing out that "Goku would be so disappointed in you"

I'm fucking devastated and obliterated. I thought life would be easier for me because I had social skills and I'm easily amused. Lmao no. They fucking found a way to ruin my life too. 🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Is there a “Matt Berry encourages you to brush your teeth?”

[–] Brickhead92 3 points 11 months ago

Matt Berry as, Matt Berry brushing his teeth.

I'd watch a season of that at least.

Watched a few of these to see how AI has gone. It's decent when you just need to monotone some dialog, which is what these are, but they still have uncanny valley issues. The actual advice is basic 101 stuff.

What I will say is, afaik there are absolutely zero male role models that aren't grifting for money and/or setting some kind of political agenda. So I guess all that's left is fictional characters. As far as Father's go, most are shit, dead, or "out for smokes", and the exceptions don't know either.. too busy working probably.
