(This isn't me following the rule; i just thought this fit better here than lemmyshitpost, hence no 'rule' in the title)

My mom tells me that if I ever go to protests, to hide my identity as best I can and not talk to cops.

Leave your phone and id at home and glue your fingerprints

100%

I've also accidentally melted my fingerprints off on hot copper before, so I know how long to heat that under a blow torch to be effective. That's if you don't want prints for like a week though. It also hurts like a bitch but silvadene helps.

We don't remove posts for not including "rule" in the title, for anyone about to report this

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Thanks lol. I figured the whole reason behind including it in the title in the first place is because you're following the rule of posting before you leave and putting the word rule in the title is a reminder of sorts. I was never active in the original community though, so I don't know if that's truly the case

yeah, in my perception, it was always more of a "(following the) rule". so purely optional. after all, the one rule is not "you must put the word 'rule' in the title of every post" >:3

I was in the original reddit community, its because every post has to have a title, making it a "rule".
