"A mid summer night's dream"? I thought it was a really good summer night personally.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

Yeah but the dream was dogwater tbh

A perfect score!

It would be hard to paint water in all its complexity before photography. This is impressive. Must have absorbed a great sense of how the little sub-waves form on the bigger waves.

Imagine how much nicer it would be if they weren't just drawing a mid ocean in a pretty mid winter

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 weeks ago

I mean at least sea of thieves has translucence to the waves

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Mid as in "middle of", right?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No, mid as in "amid." They're in the ocean.

Amid as in "in the middle of".

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

No, mid-ocean means middle, and doesn’t mean amid.

People have watched too many sea shanties on the web. They don’t know that the sea is supposed to be hairy.

Looks like a middle ground between the ocean and a set of mountain ranges

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

You’re thinking of a beach.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

I thought it was a painting of a mountain range in the clouds Honesty

Social media has fried people's brains

Well real purpose of social media and social network is about connecting and communicating with people all around the globe. It is about conversation about topics and sharing experiences.

But the shitty thing is algorithm and addictions which keeps us hooked. I will always support ethical ways of social media and social network. Love the fediverse!
