To save some people a click

The Harris campaign has arranged to have a small plane fly over Tuscaloosa during the game with a banner declaring, “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate.”

[...]

The Harris campaign will also air a national ad during one of the most highly anticipated games of college football where she calls on the former president to meet her on the debate stage one more time.

“Winners never back down from a challenge,” the ad’s narrator says. “Champions know it’s any time, any place. But losers, they whine and waffle and take their ball home.”

“Your 'best'! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.”

"I married the prom queen."

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 months ago

"Karla was prom queen" was the line

Earlier, Connery's character had asked "who's Karla?"

The gloves have come off and I love it.

He’ll take the bait. That’s what Cluster B personality disorders do, especially NPD. She’s playing him. And it will work.

I read a news article that billboards were placed around the debate venue criticizing trumps crowd sizes. So he went into that debate pre-baited.

She has his playbook. We all do. It’s called the DSM-5-TR. Cluster B.

We can only hope, but at this point I think it's quite unlikely given how even Fox News Republicans recognize that the first didn't go well.

Despite what he’s said publicly, Trump has privately flirted with the idea of meeting Harris on the debate stage one more time, sources tell CNN. Several of his advisers have argued that it could serve as a way to make his case to the American people that Harris has had more than four years in office to fulfill the campaign promises she’s making now, a message that some of Trump’s allies didn’t think he pushed hard enough when they debated earlier this month in Philadelphia. [emphasis mine]

Because the VP is in charge and gets to decide policy, not a mostly ceremonial role.

meanwhile, the former president:

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Point taken, but there is a whole lot of “it depends” to consider here. How ceremonial would you call Dick Cheney’s tenure as VP?

To be fair, W and Biden are very different presidents. Still, Cheney proved a determined VP can achieve much of their agenda if they so desired.

Cheney had the benefit of hardcore "murrica eagle caws freedum" sentiments where they could do little wrong

Hell, the Dixie chicks got cancelled because they said "I'm not super fond of war, actually"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

ca-CAW!! 🦅

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Gotta concede that point. Cheney seems to have been quite effective at getting things done.

[–] [email protected] 48 points 2 months ago

Lmao. Fucking brilliant. The weak fucker won't be enjoying the game at all not like a looser like him ever could.
