Not a movie character, but when I was a teenager the answer was 100% Willow Rosenberg.

Can't really think of anyone as an adult.

[–] Carighan 6 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

Yep, same here. Willow was my big TV crush back then. She even won against Dana Scully.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Wow...I'm not sure anyone could beat Dana Scully in my book.

Charisma Carpenter could come close though!

[–] LouNeko 26 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Jane (Krysten Ritter) from Breaking Bad. Because... just look at her.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago

Also played: Jessica Jones (my vote!)

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

I agree, Jane is a good one.

[–] Ifera 4 points 2 weeks ago

Chloe, from "Don't trust the bitch in apartment 23", same actress. She makes me extra Bi.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 2 weeks ago

Joi. Blade Runner 2049. I'd plug her in.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

TV, not a movie, but Spike from BTVS. I mean, come on!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

So... You're not staying then?

[–] pivot_root 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Allison from The Breakfast Club. I can fix her.

^I'm^ ^not^ ^a^ ^teenager^ ^anymore^ ^however,^ ^so^ ^yeah,^ ^no^ ^thanks,^ ^Chris^ ^Hansen.^ ^I'll^ ^stand.^

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

She was perfect the way she was. I hate that she let Claire give her a makeover.

[–] essell 16 points 2 weeks ago

Dexter Morgan.

Just imagine the hugs and him murdering anyone who hurts me.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

I’m more in love with the book version, but Bobbie Draper.

I simp for Bobbie Draper

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm all about show Drummer myself. But i am glad they made her a milf in the later books.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Show Drummer was book Drummer and book Pa rolled into one.

[–] then_three_more 3 points 2 weeks ago

Like a fucking Valkyrie.

[–] LouNeko 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm on the 4th book but finished the series. How does she have any red flags? Given what she's been through and her profession, she seems to be fairly well composed individual. Great friend and always kind to the people important to her. It's like dating a trucker, them not being around often and being somewhat detached comes with the territory of their profession.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

She only had red flags at first: she was a young woman trained and itching to kill for a while.

I would not marry Bobbie Draper to have her go out and do all the trucking on her own. We would definitely live in a ship together, or wherever she wanted.

Marla Singer.

I’d give her an abortion.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Bro over here busting out the director's commentary

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That was the line from the book, but they changed it to β€˜I haven’t been fucked like that since grade school’ to make it less controversial.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

So that's not the full story about the movie... from memory but the best that I remember it, they originally shot the line from the book. The studio came back with some notes, among them being hey that thing with the abortion is pretty over the top. So, they shot the line that made it into the movie instead, and the studio lost their damn minds and said that is way worse, please change it back to the abortion one at least, but they stuck to their guns and said nope, you wanted it changed so we changed it, we're doin this one now. And, apparently, they won, because that's what's in the movie, even though it is objectively quite a bit worse.

[–] grue 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That's still not the full story. The full story is that Helena Bonham Carter is English and didn't know what grades "grade school" referred to in the US, so she didn't realize just how beyond the pale the line she was saying actually was until afterwards.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago

Which meant she was perfectly blasΓ© about it while she was saying it

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

Yes, always found that funny.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

Hahaha

Well played to the man. Yeah, I was confused even while typing out the story how he had managed to make the new one stick. That makes it make sense.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Lenore from the Castlevania Netflix series.

Tons of consent issues for sure, but she's gorgeous and smart as hell.

[–] FooBarrington 3 points 2 weeks ago

Hooo boy, I get what you mean. Though I'd also love to be tossed around by Striga. And, on her good days, Carmilla.

[–] Ifera 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Bob Belcher, from Bob's Burgers. Gods, what I would do FOR and TO that man.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago (2 children)

What red flags? He's a solid, hardworking, and nonjudgmental family man! Unless in the later seasons I haven't seen he becomes a shithead?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

We'll... The fact that Hes secretly a trained assassin with amnesia using the bob identity as deep cover.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Lvi93alooqg

Trained assassin is a huge red flag.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

Damn. That show got weird.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago

That was a crossover promotion with archer, a show about essentially a giant dickwad james bond, voiced by the same guy who voices bob

[–] Ifera 1 points 1 week ago

Too committed, willing to sacrifice himself for his family, and positive till the point of being called "too hopeful"

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

Cameron Diaz in Charlie's Angels

[–] artichokecustard 9 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

not a movie, but charlie from iasip, he could fix me, i'd make him milk steak every night with extra jelly beans T-T i'd just have to kidnap him from the gang first -_-

[–] AquaTofana 1 points 1 week ago

I have a huge crush on Charlie Day as well! I think I'd take him as Dr. Newt Geizsler from Pacific Rim tho. While I am usually like "Daw I love Charlie" in IASIP, there's something about him wearing winter underwear with socks that's an immediate turn off. πŸ˜‚

Wednesday Addams from the Netflix show

[–] SauceBossSmokin 6 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Any character played by Juliette Lewis. Um, yeah.

[–] linearchaos 1 points 1 week ago

Why'd you pick me up?

Why'd you take me out of my house

and kill my parents with me? Ain't you committed to me?

Where are we fuckin' goin'?

Though Yolanda AKA Honey Bunny from Pulp Fiction it a close second.

Zuko from AtLA, but part of that was also a deep experiential empathy for his character growth arc. Also sometimes having undefined gender issues at the same time makes it really hard to tell whether a feeling like that is attraction or envy.
