It’s literally not worth your time to talk to me. If you do, I’m just going to assume you’re either in the IDF or working out of that one Air Force Intelligence Base for the US. Literally no real normal person would ever engage with someone like Me if they don’t agree with me.

“Don’t talked to me …. Literally no one would engage with me unless they agreed with me” is the dumbest fucking thing ever said.

You’re saying “these are my beliefs and I am acknowledging I am stubborn on how I hold them and will not tolerate any thought even if it helps hone my position”

Even if I agree with you (and I do) about this fucked up situation you’ve identified yourself as extreme and not worth having around in intelligent conversation and through your extreme effort you push more than you get people on your side.

There's a certain subset of users on this site that are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness. Price of not using reddit, I'm afraid.

Price of not using Reddit

You say that like there wasn't/isn't a subset of redditors who are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness.

I guess because reddit was more mainstream, that the concentration was less. And you could avoid most of it by avoiding political subs.

Here not so much.

Very true, encountered quite a few. Really makes you think twice before commenting, "is it even worth it?"

Just don't post the most milquetoast criticism of anything and you're fine! /s

It's just autism.

There's no reason to assume foreign disinformation agents (which are real and are also here) when the most likely explanation for why so many users on a fringe internet forum are antisocial and combative is autism.

I... didn't say anything like that?

Usually these people pop up when I criticize some corporation or product that they seem to have attached their entire self-esteem to.

criticize some corporation or product that they seem to have attached their entire self-esteem to.

Which is also autism

Although US corporations use the same tactics as foreign/CIA public relations operations. Tribalism is profitable, as Fox News and Limbaugh proved, and can be applied to products and brands as well as political topics

Dude. These are the most fragile people on earth. The slightest push back and they snap like twigs. You're one comment away from being a Nazi-Genocide defending-Zionist shill for the most milquetoast engagement.

What they don't realize is that even though I align with 99% of their positions, by reacting in such a way they are perpetuating the narrative that this camp is composed of imbeciles unable to hold a conversation about.... anything really.

It's funny because I don't even post political opinions anymore, despite being pretty far left myself.

I said Anya taylor-Joy doesn't play a convincing poor person on screen and said her brand probably depends on it and immediately got called the stupidest person in a thread about how her newest movie was a failure.

You'd think I wrote a nazi manifesto to deserve that kind of flack.

A certain majority.

You are impressively bad at detecting sarcasm.

I’d wager I’m not

Literally no real normal person would ever engage with someone like Me if they don’t agree with me.

That's just absolutely not true. It's completely normal, and even important, to engage with people that have a different opinon.

I believe you mean Nimarata Haley. Same with Rafael Cruz. We need to start calling them by their real names, because they don't respect pronouns. You can't have your cake, and also white wash your own name for your ignorant base.

This is some dark shit. Like seriously a new low

In a few decades from now when there are encyclopedia entries about this genocide, I wonder which pictures they will use. I wonder if this will be one of them. Fuck Haley.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 6 months ago

Literally no real normal person would ever engage with someone like Me if they don’t agree with me.

I think this bit was unnecessary. You just gave the genocide enablers something easy to deflect from the main point of the post. See the top comments, but kudos for calling out the hypocrisies of a US. Both parties support the genocide but there's a ruckus when you point it out.

This is so so fucked up. Makes me so incredibly sad that people can have such little (no) empathy for fellow humans.

Biden got Republicans to support his abortion policies.
