It’s literally not worth your time to talk to me. If you do, I’m just going to assume you’re either in the IDF or working out of that one Air Force Intelligence Base for the US. Literally no real normal person would ever engage with someone like Me if they don’t agree with me.

There's a certain subset of users on this site that are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness. Price of not using reddit, I'm afraid.

Price of not using Reddit

You say that like there wasn't/isn't a subset of redditors who are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness.

I guess because reddit was more mainstream, that the concentration was less. And you could avoid most of it by avoiding political subs.

Here not so much.

Very true, encountered quite a few. Really makes you think twice before commenting, "is it even worth it?"

Just don't post the most milquetoast criticism of anything and you're fine! /s

It's just autism.

There's no reason to assume foreign disinformation agents (which are real and are also here) when the most likely explanation for why so many users on a fringe internet forum are antisocial and combative is autism.

I... didn't say anything like that?

Usually these people pop up when I criticize some corporation or product that they seem to have attached their entire self-esteem to.

criticize some corporation or product that they seem to have attached their entire self-esteem to.

Which is also autism

Although US corporations use the same tactics as foreign/CIA public relations operations. Tribalism is profitable, as Fox News and Limbaugh proved, and can be applied to products and brands as well as political topics

Dude. These are the most fragile people on earth. The slightest push back and they snap like twigs. You're one comment away from being a Nazi-Genocide defending-Zionist shill for the most milquetoast engagement.

What they don't realize is that even though I align with 99% of their positions, by reacting in such a way they are perpetuating the narrative that this camp is composed of imbeciles unable to hold a conversation about.... anything really.

It's funny because I don't even post political opinions anymore, despite being pretty far left myself.

I said Anya taylor-Joy doesn't play a convincing poor person on screen and said her brand probably depends on it and immediately got called the stupidest person in a thread about how her newest movie was a failure.

You'd think I wrote a nazi manifesto to deserve that kind of flack.

A certain majority.
