Better than beans and Stroganoff.
...I think.
Better than beans and Stroganoff.
...I think.
You take that back! Beanposting was peak content
It was the best week of my life
I missed stroganoff and beans. Have we done guacamole posting?
Be the change you want to see.
Guac costs extra
Unlike your mom.
Guac on your mom still costs extra, though.
Something something chickpea
And No Poop Challenge
It's less about "new content" on Lemmy and more about "I have a social media addiction and need constant content to satisfy my insatiable media habit". A lot of us are guilty of this, me included.
Honestly, I've been enjoying not having an infinite amount of content to scroll through anymore. I get off of it a lot more and do other things. It's been nice.
Plus, memes last longer on here. I started falling behind on Reddit every week. Here a meme might last up to a month
Look, I don't put up with it when my therapist says this shit to me and I'm certainly not gonna take it from some internet rando! Quit attacking me and say something funny about Taylor Swift's acorn tricorder
I'm in this comment and I don't like it
Hell yeah!
This is sad, but true ! But I have to say that lemmy decreased my binge scrolling I had with reddit, so it partially solved that addiction.
I used to be into sadism, necrophilia, and bestiality… but then I realized I was just beating a dead horse.
Jarvis generate an airplane getting hit with an acorn flying into Will Poulter.
Congratulations, Tony. You've invented a new ~~element~~ tragedy.
I don't understand how some people worship Pop idols and defend them against any criticism, doesn't matter how many private jets you own if you end up taking the same amount of flights on one jet or three jets. one Private jet is already one too many in the context of combating climate change.
I haven't said anything on the subject before, because I don't care very much, but I don't know what the alternative is supposed to be. It's not like someone who is that famous can walk into a public airplane without putting her own safety at risk and causing trouble for other passengers.
It's also well known that conservatives really hate her because she told her fans to vote and these memes are part of their effort to discredit her. Whether the point has any merit or not, it's obvious who started the trend and who it's helping.
Noooo you can't make new memes or enjoy lemmy-specific content! We need political memes and 5th-generation Facebook reposts ONLY!
Frfr
Wrap it all up in a twitter screenshot please
When does this meme apply to itself and we stop getting a new version every week like it's the fuckin weekly meme gazette?
I still don't understand the cop acorn stuff. I must've slept in that day
Cop thought a falling acorn was a gunshot so he opened fire on a black guy who was handcuffed in the back of his patrol car.
Don't forget the double roll and tactical cowering he also did.
I'M HIT!!! I'M HIT!!!
A cop opened fire on his own car and thought he got shot after hearing an acorn fall on the car. There was a suspect restrained in the back seat of the car at the time.
Does anybody remember billionaires in submarines.
When Lemmy is Lemmy with Lemmy:
"Wait, Lemmy is Lemmy?"
"Lemmy."
I've been meaning to ask... What's up with the Taylow Swift = airplane memes?
She takes her private jet absolutely everywhere, to the detriment of the environment
Oh, ok. I was expecting something more damning, but I guess that goes against her public image.
Thanks.
Also her lawyers sent a letter to the person who tracks her flights to stop so that put her even more in the spotlight.
This is actually the real problem, which makes me feel like the memes are justified. They really didn't start showing up til the C&D anyway (AFAIK).
I'm a feminist and left-leaning guy, I'm certainly not gonna go after her for being a woman or for her "politics"* - or appreciate jokes that seek to do so, as people are trying to imply in this case. But trying to avoid the deserved scrutiny of hiding her flight plans is pretty shitty and it's fair to razz her for it
(* "go vote" is so barely politics it's not worth truly acknowledging it as such)
