They're hoping to be bought out
If the owners of large instances are hoping for a buyout, they won't be dissuaded by the fact that it's an idiotic and nonsensical pipe dream.
I understand that would be fucken sweet. In the scheme of things it would be so awesome to have some corporation with eldritch levels of power to fork over so much money to you that you are instantly king of your local. But fuck is the feedback loop of destruction obvious and nobody at the reigns seems to care.
