I didn't even realize people born in 2007 had consciousness yet wtf. Good on you man, enjoy your switch

2006, 2007 was my 1st birthday. But that's just a detail.

Also, something more to think about:
Oldest gen-alphas are currently 13.
First generation beta child will be born on 2025 (if Earth and humans survive).

These generational labels make increasingly little sense.

boomer = older than me

zoomer = younger than me

as simple as that

It's when you're out of latin letters because gen-Z

[–] LemmysMum 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well boomers kids were gen X, because x was edgy back then. And that fucked up the whole system.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You're absolutely right, I remembered that it started before Z, but couldn't remember how far back it went

Edit: but I can totally see a conspiracy theory about humanity being less than 30 generations old arise from this naming

I was already working my first job in IT in 2007. God damn

I was a Sophomore in high school when OP was born. How is OP on the Internet?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

You actually had it right before.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

my brain is broken rn apparently, I had to put your birthday into an age calculator to confirm, aren’t you turning 17 in a few months?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Nope. That will be 18. By 1st birthday I meant when I was 1.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

OH there we go lol

[–] samus12345 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I was probably a Sophomore when you were born, then.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

Oh shit. How am I on the Internet?

[–] AdrianTheFrog 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

lol, there's a pretty big chance OP is probably a Sophomore in high school too

edit: probably a junior or senior actually but still pretty close

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Equivalent to senior (different school system).

In Slovakia, depending on chosen field of study, it ranges from 2 to 5 years. It's 4 years for me.

Just this week I realized that my driver's license is so old, it's a millennial.
