Assuming it's not seriously illegal where you live, substitute alcohol for cannabis, have a great night and wake up rested and refreshed the next morning.
Seems to be less damaging to the body long term too, but that's neither here nor there.
Don't forget to grab some pho for the morning after. This is the holy trifecta.
I like to get drunk as hell and then smoke up the same night. It used to give me a bad case of the spins in my 20s but these days it's fine. Plus the weed keeps me from drinking too much to the point of hangover, cause the moment it kicks in I lose all desire to drink.
Weed seems to act like a sleeping pill for me. It's not exactly "fun". It just feels like I took something like presumably Ambien or something. I don't get any positive effects from it like alcohol.
It's not that I'm doing too much either. If I take very miniscule amounts, I feel nothing. If I take slightly more, I feel incredibly sleepy and hungry with no positive effects. I've tried to ride out the sleepiness before to see if I get something good out of it, but it just makes me feel sick like I'm coming down with something.
I have tried to take more than that to see if I was taking too little, but it made me uncomfortably dissociate and gave me extreme nausea.
This is only in reference to weed edibles for the record. Less than 2.5 mg and I feel nothing. 2.5-5 mg and I feel overwhelming sleepy and mildly sick. 6-10 mg seems to be too much for me. I have limited access to materials to smoke it due to legality in my area. I also am not keen on damaging my lungs either.
I keep going back to it now and then hoping I'll get something out of it, but it just unfortunately doesn't seem to do anything for me. I wish I could use it to replace alcohol because alcohol gives me intense GI upset with even small amounts. But I simply don't get any positive effects from weed at all whatsoever. The sleeping pill part is sort of useful on the rare occasion I have trouble sleeping. But usually my problem is the opposite...I can't stay awake on a regular basis without any drugs. So purposefully taking something to knock me out isn't great.
I get a terrible headache if I smoke a lot of weed the night before. I also know many people (including myself sometimes) who get really bad anxiety even with just a bit of weed. I like to cannabis but it just has never hit the same as alcohol for me
