I disavow the ignorance displayed in the statement that “Feminists always think women are better than men.” But felt important to share how well received such a message is received on this site.

I took it as more directed against feminists than women, with it saying that women are the same as men which imo wouldn't be misogynistic

The whole point of feminist is not that women are better than men, but that women should have equal rights and opportunities to men.

It doesn't seem to be what those people upvoting the comment views it as. So it might not be directed at feminism as the sort of equal ideology but rather towards what those people think it is. If they're thinking women shouldn't have equal rights then that's misogynistic but if they think they shouldn't be superior to men or whatever then that doesn't sound misogynistic

Yeah, it's more of a misunderstanding. But I was just saying that if that's the case then it doesn't seem like misogynism to me
