Uhhhh yes here is my get 1 pizza get a million $ free coupon from totally real pizza chain
Every few years I try Domino's again to make sure my avoidance of them is justified and every time I'm reminded how right I am. Before you think I'm just a pizza snob, I like and semi regularly get Pizza Hut.
Pizza hut is definitely better than Dominos, but at least in here (Spain), it's expensive as fuck, whereas Dominos is not that bad and it's much cheaper.
Domino's is dirt cheap here in Australia. Until last year, they were still doing large pizzas for $5 (which works out to something like 3 euros). They've gone up to $7 now, but that's still really cheap for a pizza that really isn't that bad
It's actually insulting that they're still allowed to call what they serve as a large pizza a large pizza. Then they had the balls to offer an "extra large" for more money which was the size they used to be.
By comparison though, they don't offer anything that big in the US for anything near as cheap as $7 AUD.
Pizza Hut in America is the absolute worst, Aussie Domino's level I'd guess. The thin crust is marginally better than their other stuff.
Am I the only one who thinks dominoes is pretty good
Out of the two of us? Yep.
Are you in the US or Australia (or somewhere else)? US Domino's is much better than the Australian version.
US, so that might explain it
I was so confused this whole time. I thought I was the only one who liked dominoes for a minute
This post is on an Aussie server in a community for an Aussie city (Melbourne) so I'm not sure how so many Americans found the post!
I found it on all without noticing the community name
I've been on this platform for a while and didn't even realise there's an "all" section hahaha. Thanks!
Did Aussie Dominoes not have the recipe change that the American one went through a decade or so ago?
Domino's is fine, but only when they are 50% off.
Apparently this very common sales discount is desperate?
May as well straight up say "Were confident we use the cheapest ingredients available, and we couldn't possibly pay our staff less!"
It's funny how different Domino's America and Domino's Australia is. In Australia their pizza is so cheap it sounds like it must be made of cardboard. Over here they use pretty good ingredients. Little Caesars is our cheap enough to be cardboard pizza place.
As an Aussie living in the USA... Little Caesars is better than Australian Domino's. Aussie Pizza Hut is terrible too.
On the other hand, Aussie KFC is significantly better than the US version. Not as good as Popeyes or Chick Fil A though.
Funny, I always find dominoes tastes more like cardboard than Little Ceasar's ever does
Yeah, but good luck finding a coupon for cardboard from Staples. They know they have all the power...
What's staples
Domino's closest competitor, an office supply store.
American Officeworks
Jokes aside, there's actually a possibility of getting decent deals with this. I seem to recall both pizza hut and Domino's doing similar things in the past, but I haven't seen any of these signs in ages, so I just assumed they'd stopped doing it
This is the Sebastopol Domino's if anyone happens to be out that way and has some coupons for other pizza shops
A decent deal would invariably involve decent pizza, so that's not happening in Domino's

*Cries in Seattle having some of the worst pizza but still costs $30+
Seriously though I don't know why Seattle pizza is so underwhelming I used to live in Idaho they have better pizza and Idaho doesn't do anything well. Why is dominoes on par with the other places in Seattle but way cheaper.
Sounds like someone has never had Delfinos
Someone has now officially tried Delfino's! It is pretty good but I only give it a half win for Seattle because it is a very Chicago pizza. Regardless I'm happy I went and seems like somewhere I'll actually go back to so that puts it in the 'some of the best in Seattle' category for me.
Chicago Pizza is the top tier anyway so I'm glad you dug it
Is now on my list to try. Please I want good pizza here if you got more suggestions
Ian's on the hill has fun stuff, I recommend the steak and tots. I don't eat a lot of pizza since I got in shape but those two have long been solid.
Try it in Iceland your experience might be different
Domino's is pretty good pizza. A lot lot better than most local places. Most local places, especially outside cities are garbage pizza.
Eh, any "deal" that includes you ending up with a Domino's pizza isn't really a deal.
Sebastopol
Good try Russia, deals on Domino's pizza won't make me to go on vacation to occupied Crimea! ;)
What
Sebastopol/sevastopol is the capital of Crimea. I'm dropping in from viewing all communities, it appears it's also the name of a suburb in Australia?
There's a Sebastopol in California too, near Santa Rosa. Seems like it's not an uncommon name?
Canadian here. I hope you Aussies have managed to dodge the horrendous garbage that is Pizza Pizza.
Ah, the negotiator
