Summary

Fourteen states sued the Trump administration over Elon Musk’s role as head of DOGE, arguing his authority violates the Constitution.

The lawsuit, led by New Mexico, claims Musk wields unchecked power to cut agencies and budgets without Senate confirmation, making him a "principal officer" under the Appointments Clause.

Another lawsuit by USAID employees raises similar concerns.

Judges have already blocked some DOGE actions, but the White House defends Musk’s role as legal.

Hoping to see my state added to the list, they've been filling suits on a lot of other issues as well, but sometimes seem to be a little delayed.

How do we make this happen?

Calling the office of the Attorney General in your state would be a good place to start. Also contacting the people in your state's houses of Congress as well as the ones at the federal level.

It's quite encouraging how these states are all from different parts of the US, with different overall cultural values and political stances, yet they are all united on the same side in this.

I hope this is a good sign something might actually work out here, I really hope

For once could one of these "blasting" articles be a slow motion video of Kentucky Ballistic shooting the person in question with a .950?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 5 days ago

So anyway I started blasting.

About fucking time! I've seen articles about criticizing and opposing DOGE, but I knew we wouldn't see any real movement until they started getting blasted or slammed.

Put him and his First Lady in jail already. For life. With no loopholes to get out.

No amount of monetary damage will so much as phase them.

If my grandma were still alive and saw a grown man standing indoors with a hat on she would whoop his ass. And let's not let her know that he's a Nazi.
