Already been boycotting target

I can relate to that on some level. I have become more hyperfocused and also more forgetful lately, but if I write things down more it balances out better and I'm very effective and productive.

Your labor and efforts are appreciated :) we can get through this together!

Yeah I definitely get that, that sounds like a good friend. I've had others giving me positive and validating feedback (especially lately) that is really helpful in letting me know I'm on the right path and that what I'm trying to do in being there for others is working and being received and appreciated which is something I'm very grateful for. I don't think thats presumptuous, we all have unique experiences that we perceive in different ways, and learn different things from, and that allows us each to have our own perspective that make new things possible. It sounds like you're going great, keep it up :)

It is still a good reason not to use Ecosia, however.

I'm honestly worried about a mask ban EO, without any exceptions for medical or other purposes, partially because I hate the destructive use of AI and facial recognition tech, partially because I hate ableism, partially because I love public health, among other reasons. I think protecting your identity is not just a right but a moral imperative when taking certain positive and productive actions, so you have the chance to continue the work. In addition I think protecting oneself and others from airborne diseases is a must if one intends to abide by a policy of harm reduction, pollution is another concern as well.

Uh yes it was definitely hand-waved away by some "if you look carefully". It was only the "least-worse option" because so many were successfully manipulated by the system into being placated with crumbs so they wouldn't revolt at the thousands of other reasons we've had for years to fight back against this shit, pushing the Overton window to the right in increments and leading folks to not use or even possess or be taught in the first place the critical thinking skills required to inform oneself and take steps to make positive change, in this system designed to intentionally misinform and mislead us and pit us against each other so we vote for the same rich white men responsible for perpetuating this system and the harm it brings to all of us, especially marginalized communities.

I would recommend to you (and anyone who is interested in informing themselves on what is being done to us) to read "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein. It details this process of incremental change, and some of the strategies and parties previously and currently involved in taking control of our government (or at this point more like what's left of it).

(For clarity: I'm not saying both parties are the same, although their goals, tactics, and policies seem less different to me as time passes; I'm not making any general statement passing blame to any group of voters or non-voters in this comment, because I believe the bulk of the responsibility lies on the system and those who hold sway over large parts of it in the form of currency or legislation, for example; I'm not denying or invalidating that you may feel this way and/or believe it is true, I'm taking issue with your statement that "it was never handwaved", because I most certainly saw that happen and know people who to this day are clinging to that sentiment; I'm not saying harm reduction isn't the move or good policy, it is but there has to simultaneously be work being done on reducing or removing the source of that harm)

Edit: sorry for run-on sentences. working on it gradually and open to feedback

This inconsistency is a little indicator of a codebase i would be happy to never have to lay my eyes upon.

This makes me think of websites like Walgreens mobile site where it loads the old design first then updates to the new design lol.

Yeah. Its pretty much constant throughout history. I have hope that can change, but it's absolutely ongoing and we've got a ways to go.

I have stuff I've prepared to help my family with what is coming, info, steps to take, articles and other sources and evidence, etc. Its in multiple formats. What's the best and/or easiest way to move it to SNote or another E2EE app?

Everyone tells me they wouldn't do that but I know better than to trust the powers that be with my life and health. I heard about something called SR17018 that might be some kind of replacement or possibly a way to quit but I can't find much on how it can be used in these ways, although I do have a source. I also have a couple huge bottles of vitamin c, for something called "the vitamin c method" which may or may not help with withdrawals. Any other ideas or steps people are taking besides stockpiling? I could never stockpile enough honestly. Any help appreciated, this is the biggest obstacle to survival for me if the collapse happens any time soon at all.

When Susan's implant gets activated and she grabs Finn and says "target acquired" it's because that was her original mission as revealed in the Islands mini series. I hadn't made the connection until my, like, 25-30th watch or so lol. I guess I just assumed it was because he's the only other human around. Did everyone already know this and I'm just super slow?

Edit: forgot to mention the episode, its Preboot in S8

They're just regular (prescription) glasses. The sky looks normal through them. What's the deal?

Hint: highly philosophical track from a widely-beloved-in-his-hometown artist from Midwest US who passed away from an overdose a decade or more ago

It was a sparkling lemonade/soda with zero sugar or calories, but still tasted sweet enough and highly refreshing when cold. Would also accept a replacement for the non-diet version, which in my region of the US was unavailable even before they got rid of the diet version.
