The final vote was 52 to 48.
Media acts like this is new. The same vote total for all of the crazy confirmations. Republicans will have one of two people do a song and dance as long as the have the votes.

Rubio's confirmation vote was unanimous. Schumer had the god awful idea to let the Dems vote yes on the less-insane picks to hopefully get some GOP defectors for the worst picks like Patel, Tulsi, and Kennedy. Fantastic idea, really.🙄
They still haven't figured out all the old rules are gone.
Stupid.
Mother.
Fuckers.
That implies they care they're gone.
The party has resisted calls to actually oppose the GOP for decades, so it's unsurprising that was the strategy they came up with.
Its exactly the same as Tulsi's confirm numbers, isnt it?
Fuck I have to get quality news reports from People now.
Yes to Tulsi

Holding up so far. They created a new natural law.
The American Natural Law.
Are you fucking joking? We confirmed this fucking quack to run our health department? Gimme a fucking break... these people really are trying to burn the whole thing to the ground.
This country has brain worms.
If the country does have brain worms, there's no way you're getting rid of them now. You'll just be told to inject bleach and pray.
Yeah, no kidding. At this point I'm starting to root for a killer asteroid to hit us.
Funnily enough there is an asteroid, there was like 1% chance of it hitting earth and it's now up to 2.5% chance. What we really need is for someone to invite the aliens.
Can we root for one that just nukes the US?
I'd prefer no nukes, that will still spread. Maybe yellow stone will finally erupt and it will be smaller than predicted just wiping out the U.S. I would be okay with that.
At least that would be a quick death.
Yeah, but what's the brain worm party gonna do for the working man?
It's the disease department now.
The man. Has a dead worm. In his brain.
I just fuckin’…
Do we know if the worm is actually dead? Insiders insinuate it’s the worm actually calling the shots…
We're gonna need a lot more Luigis. Doctors can prescribe off-label to continue doing medicine, but the insurance companies will be happy for excuses to deny payments with government approval.
No medical education, no qualifications, and a dead brain worm. Jfc
I'm now taking bets on how long it takes before raw milk is mandated in our school system.
There'll be no more cows what with the viruses rampaging around willynilly. Trump will be looking at invading India to steal theirs.
The only surprising thing is that Moscow mitch voted with the democrats.
He DID apparently have polio as a kid, so this may be a case of "I suddenly care when it affects me personally"
Nah.
I'll believe it when he casts a deciding vote. Until then it's all for show.
Just performative bullshit trying to buy his way out of hell.
I'm surprised it wasn't unanimous.
It was nice knowing y'all.
