I don't think it's been corporate media posting a bunch of stupid and antagonizing bullshit to c/politicalmemes
Also, the last three elections in a row at least have all had moderate Dems who refuse to listen to their voters and do whatever their donors want and then go on to lose or barely win against this fascist prick, and I really really really don't want to go through another one of those elections. We need to have a thorough examination of how the Democratic party has been fucking us here and concrete verifiable steps they will take to stop this, otherwise the left is going to remain divided whether or not corporate media is reporting on it.
If we don’t understand why we failed and change the party accordingly, how will we ever win next time?
The party is also controlled by corporate interests because money is the most important thing in politics now. To change the party you will need many, many millions of dollars. Don't have that? Gee sucks to not be a billionaire. 🤷
There's not going to be a next time. You can't vote out fascism.

The left failed to prevent a fascist takeover. Maybe we never had the power to prevent it, but how the hell do you know that if you’re unwilling to examine what happened? I want the enemies of fascism to get their shit together, but that requires discussing and admitting we did NOT do “everything right”. What a ridiculous thing to assert!
Liberals are not the left. Either the Democrats get their stuff together and listen to the demands of the left, or they will lose once again in 2028.

Again, how receptive was Harris? Clearly there was no choice when it came to genocide. If something as horrific as genocide is non-negotiable, what makes you think either political party cares to work for the people on any other heavily lobbied issue?

For the record, I voted for harris, but I'm not stupid enough to think she would've made any difference because she indicated as much on the campaign trail during a critical election. The campaign trail is when politicians make promises they don't keep and yet she couldn't even be bothered to lie about caring.
So the Harris campaign not only ignored, but actively lied about the voter feedback they received on Gaza...
Harris left a vacuum by not visiting Michigan families impacted by US-supplied bombs to help create a permission structure for their trust while Trump visited Dearborn and filled a community in despair with lies
