Why like a picture of a post and not the article?

And then you provide a link to the post, also instead of the article?

Just...

Why?

Story's main headline doesn't really capture the gist very well, and this post gave a much better summary

I added the direct link of the story to the body

Here's how that will play out:

Democrats want to take the "moral high ground", so they pass the torch to the republicans.

Nope, they are already talking about finding a dem to fill the seat

WV is Joe Manchin country so my hopes for an actual Dem of the people is very low.

Mankind is barely able to look beyond the benefit of their direct offspring, much less future generations, and often, not even that far. It will always be a race to the bottom as long as being immoral yields immediate benefits at the cost of long-term good.

There are moral, long-term thinking people, but these often lose battles to immoral short-term thinkers since they tend to not be willing to sacrifice "the moral high ground," lest they become no better than their opponents.

So... if I start a nuclear war... and wipe out the entire human race... I'm the most moral person because I've reduced the number of killers in the world to zero, forever?

I'm no ethicist, but I can't argue with the logic.

Gonna own the libs by making sure it’s their party that is associated with my arrest…doh!

We often hear about Dems going Rep, but this is one of the very few times I hear about the reverse.

Man, Steven Seagal is really going through some stuff, isn't he?

More than you may realize.

'They play stupid games, they are getting stupid awards … I have only begun … and won’t stop. I had a vision to destroy them from the angel of Moroni.'

100% guarantee that he's Mormon, and likely some version of a Mormon fundamentalist (...as if regular Mormonism wasn't crazy enough). "Angel of Moroni" is a dead giveaway.

[–] Wizard_Pope 4 points 2 weeks ago

Angel of moronism for him if he actually did what the article states.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I didn't see in the article if it said why he switched parties. Was it just because the other magats were being mean?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Might be so that the news reported him as a terrorist Democrat?

[–] vikingr 4 points 2 weeks ago

Lmao this is dope. Mormonism doing good for once.

Okay, this… is hilarious.
