Reminder that a President-Elect remains a private citizen up until inauguration day, meaning Trump is flagrantly violating the Logan Act by trying to make all these "deals" before he is even in power.

The US kinda proved its laws aren't worth the paper they're printed on. It's like "but Putin isn't allowed to run for President again".

I like how we don't even have to wait for inauguration day to start experiencing Trump's failures.

Gonna be a fantastic 4 years of no progression, and probably lots of regression.

Good job America. You must love suffering. You keep asking for it.

Last time it really surprised and upset me. This time I've got front row seats and popcorn.

This is the kind of thing, like with nuclear meltdowns, where you really don’t want a front row seat.

I don't really have a choice, or rather my best efforts were thwarted. So I can either make the popcorn or not, but either way I'm along for the ride for now.

His advisers, including retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, whom Trump tapped for his special envoy to Ukraine, have proposed pushing Ukraine to the table by threatening to cut off aid and getting Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate with the threat of surging weapons.

Okay trump, they saw your threat and are calling your bluff. Now is when you follow through with your threat and surge weapons to Ukraine to push Russia out. I talked to Elon about this, and he agrees that we should give Ukraine a lot more of the good weapons. Pinky swear.

Also, the stock market will definitely go down if you don't. Like, to the floor.

"Lowest in the history of numbers." "Well, that's lower than I thought."

But Donnie said Putin is literally waiting for his call to save the world and forge a peace plan so amazing, few people, the best people, could hardly believe it's happening.

But, Trump said he could end the war in a day.

Could he have lied to us!??!

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago

Trump, as a sitting US President, could end any war in a day.

Musk might want to get that whole “travel to Mars” thing worked out first though, as the nuclear fallout of Trump’s one-day solution would leave most of the earth uninhabitable.

The relationship between Putin and Trump is like a school bully and the kid getting bullied, but the bullied kid thinks he can win over the bully by bringing extra lunch money to give voluntarily. Sure the bully fucking loves the special treatment, but that doesn't mean he's going to lift a finger to help the other kid; he'll just laugh in the other kid's face when called upon.

You and Putin aren't friends, Trump: you're just his bitch.
